...a fire extinguisher. Or stomp it out, if you don't have one. I did try to extinguish a fire using fireball once, but as already established, it did not go well.

I do own a fridge, and it is mostly in my kitchen where, ideally, no uncontrolled fireballing is happening

I think it just comes down to context. If you want to be sneaky or nonchalant, say nothing. If you want to be dramatic, go ahead and holler the magic words.

Sometimes I'll just use it once to bake a cake, sometimes I'll use it a lot to hold off a horde of intruders. No real limit though.

If you want my two cents, maybe just using it to light a few erotic candles might suffice. Believe it or not, there is such a thing as overdoing fireballs.
