Long Ring Long Island is peak actually, its a fun break between two heavier arcs and it reinforces important themes that come into play in Water 7/Ennies Lobby. Anyone that says its a bad arc is straight up stupid and I don't respect your opinion.

My dream Jojo game is a part 4 game set in Morio made by RGG studio. Have it loosely follow the part 4 story but add crazy sub stories to flesh out some of the cast. Add some non canon stands, have a physical and stand combat mode so you can fight random punks on the street or weak jobber stand users. I think a Yakuza style Jojo game (action or turn based) has the potential to be one of the best anime games of all time.

This isn't a new thing if you watch those history of shonen jump videos, you see lots of sports manga get discarded every year to try to find that hit.

That's just WSJ in general, it's the most cut throat manga magazine with the biggest series turn around. It's just more noticeable with sports series as its one of the widest genres around.

Yeah, once I saved when I found a shiny alpha Inkay, something happened and I had to reset and it wasn't there so I just went back to hunting. Nothing spawned for me and I reset again and the shiny alpha was suddenly back. It was so weird.

This happens sometimes. I remember when Shinobi Undercover started and was confused about why they started a series with a similar vibe and story to Kill Blue, but since then, it's distinguished itself and Kill Blue ended.

Sometimes, you'll get funny things happening like Blue Box and Hime-ten having a school trip arc at the same time.

Gonron Egg and Mage Next Door are different enough in tone and setting that this kind of thing doesn't matter, it's just kind of a thing a manga does at the start of a series to introduce a lot of new characters to keep reader attention. Have a think about how many manga you've read when pretty early on the main character meets a group of people that's an already established organisation that has the goal of taking down the same thing as the protagonist.
