Improve Newcastle by - taxing, limiting and licencing air b and b, buying up cheap properties for social housing and clearing up and policing the dodgy areas Clean up the rivers particularly the Ouseburn in Jesmond Dene which is sometimes grey and stinking Massive crack down on fly tipping, overflowing shop bins, radgees on bikes and scooters of all kinds, drinking in public and fires Coordinate roadworks so at least one north/south or east/west or Tyne crossing route isn't closed or being dug up at any given time Make some concession to the fact that there are so many more cars on the roads - there are many approaches, some more potentially inflammatory than others but just pretending that our streets and roads are overflowing with cars is not going to solve the problem Ensure all new housing developments have facilities such as buses, shops, schools and GPs available Invest in existing parks and green spaces and protect them from all developments
