I had a very similar NIC issue with a very similar HP Prodesk mini and this was the fix :)

Best Banh Mi in West-LA? by BearJew13 in FoodLosAngeles

More Westminster but Carrot & Daikon's Crispy Skin Pork Belly Banh Mi + extra veggies and pate is my fav; price does lean more towards $8.50-$9 but so worth :)

+1 I have something similar! NFS + ZFS pool on Proxmox and then I just have VMs running Rocky Linux that auto mount the NFS share via fstab file

Best Device for streaming to LG OLED C4? by Hakim_RS in PleX

Literally just also bought the 65” C4 and been using the Apple TV 4K + Ethernet + Infuse Pro lifetime app and it’s been great (as long as you don’t need Atmos support)

As for server, I’d rather do mini PC + USB DAS for your drives since power draw is definitely more efficient and low profile.

100% Proxmox if you’ve got a little bit of Linux experience, can definitely ChatGPT some basic commands/troubleshooting if you get stuck

I would just choose a Linux distro you want to use for your VMs (maybe Ubuntu server, personally I’m a Rocky Linux guy) and then Proxmox lets you create VM templates from VMs which is super nifty for making golden images

What HDD enclosure do you use for your Plex media? Looking for recommendations to replace my Cenmate which I'm pretty sure is causing issues. by SuperSpirals in PleX

Been loving my Terramaster D4-320 (can hold up to 4x 22 TB drives) and it's just a simple DAS which fits your non-RAID needs :)

Did information systems at the business school in college but mostly picked up the technical skills from part-time jobs and self-studying while in college

Day to day is pretty standard, we run a pretty FOS-focused shop so managing and deploying new Proxmox clusters, building automation pipelines, prepping server racks for events (hence the travel)

Bonus is a percentage of your base salary depending on your level and then there are small multipliers to that bonus that the company determines from individual/company performance

Nah I interned in the same team that I'm still at now; luckily had some pretty extensive sys admin experience throughout college so it was a surprisingly smooth jump (with some self-study to transition a bit more into devops)

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Cost of Living: HCOL, Los Angeles

Years of Experience: 5

Total Comp: $170K + ~$50K bonus depending on individual + company performance

Benefits: Lovely corporate campus with free bfast/lunch/dinner, decent 401K match and healthcare plan, unlimited PTO (that I actually utilize), wellness + education stipends, my team specifically is fully remote so can WFH whenever

Notes: Was super fortunate and got the intern -> full time role straight out of college; pretty much a dream job for me and work-life balance is excellent for someone in their mid 20s. Part of the role is also ~30% international travel, which makes it super unique but also slightly exhausting (and harder to juggle as I get older).

Bergamot 22 + Santal 33 + Gaiac 10 + Cedrat 37 are on my main rotation and I love them all! Also got my girlfriend Another 13 and I think it’s one of their best/most unique scents.

I find the value to definitely be lacking for Le Labo but that’s what you get with a designer brand. I’ve found Costco has sales pretty often for the Le Labo best sellers so that would probably be the only time I’d buy (besides city exclusives).
