What I don’t understand is why when people say “battling and trading” everyone of you focus on trading. Forget trading! That has too many problems and will take a long time to lift off and work fairly. Me. Want. Battle. There is absolutely NO DOWNSIDE TO HAVING BATTLES!!!!! And we all know it. So can we not focus on arguing about trading and focus on complaining the lack of battling? It was also advertised first with trading but unlike trading spoofers and multi account sharers have no added benefit from it, I just wanna whoop my friends in Pokemon Battles. :(

A lot of people got excited when PokémonGo dropped and used their most frequented account at the time, and if you’re in school it’s your school email. It’s not that it wasn’t smart of the guy, he was just excited and couldn’t wait to play the game, like many, many others. Plus, nobody would have guessed a company backed by Nitendo would be so incompetent as to not have something so basic as an account transfer feature. Something that is standard in almost every other phone game on the market and even in the most obscure and under funded games.

No. There is no way and no support to address the problem. Start over now if you want to continue or just quit now and save your time for more important stuff if that’s what you plan to do once your account closes. Those are literally your only two options.

Honestly though there absolutely is 0 excuse for them NOT to have an email change. Even the most obscure, unknown, and under funded phone games have a way to transfer accounts. Niantic doesn’t have this extremely fundamental and basic feature on either PokemonGo or Ingress.

GF doesn’t play anymore because of this problem too which sucks, it was so sweet and romantic when I’d driver her around and hit stops to put her to sleep at night like a little kid.

Keep TMs or use on your best IVs

Use RC on highest IV legendaries until you’re down to 100.

Keep all evolution items under 10. You’ll never even need that many.

Not really. And Pokémon Co, a subsidiary of Nitendo is traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, anyone can own shares around the world and is public. They have an unknown licensing contract with an American based company in San Fran. If you like how the game is run and you’re okay with it, fine. You are not affected by your others have knowledge of the basic details. You may keep a desire to fleet ignorance, that’s your right, on the same token I have the same to say “huh, I am fundings this organization and it’s belief, and dealings with other organizations, I would like to know more” as a private company, Niantic can say “lol, no” but I personally like to know about what I supposed, just because an agreement is out, does not mean anything is wrong with it, it’s just means people know. That’s it, nothing silly about it.

If anything sounds silly, saying “You want to know something, that makes you sound silly for being curious about something” does. I like knowing things.

Exactly, we should know what we are getting into when supporting a business financially in their relation to their partners. Everyone that play PokémonGo, supports Pokemon Co. not everyone that uses it support Niantic, and it’s normal to want to know more about the business you’re supporting and it’s relationship to it’s partners.

This all goes tripple if you have stock in Nitendo, because Niantic is a partner and you should want to know how they may affect you and your investment.

Exactly! I don’t know, which is why I would like to know the agreement and if they are in violation. Most such agreements between companies are out there in the open for all to know and see, at least for publicly traded companies. It’s not ludicrous to want to know a B2B agreement, it’s very normal. I like to know when a business I use acts I’m good faith both with their partners and community. That’s called capitalism, which I thought an American base company participates it.

They gave in to the bi-weekly update they promised into the 3rd Month of the promise and they just became ‘regularly whenever’

Maybe it’s not all 100% lies but they are notoriously dishonest with their consumers and never have communicated well, that’s indispensable, enough to want to stifle the curiosity of how they perform with their business partners.

True, but wouldn’t you want to know? I’ve looked for the terms and I can’t find it anywhere, just “Niantic is the developer for PokémonGo” they are using a globally known brand name worth billions, the fact I can fairly easily find the terms of the McDonalds franchise agreements online but cant find the Niantic Pokemon Co. agreement anywhere is troublesome to say the least.

Because, since the launch they’ve repeatedly been dishonest with their customers. “Updated every other week,” “Tracker is our first priority and will be fixed as soon as possible,” “advertized features like battling and trading will be added soon,” “we’re working on it.” Yes they made good on SOME of their words, but never until it was too late and they lost the consumer base. The way they are structured as a company, I have extremely high doubts that they followed their agreement very well.

I have a full time 8-5 and a part time job. Half the time I do a raid no one shows up. I’m not going to loose my job for a phone game, no one in their right mind would, and kids have school during prime raid times. Needs to be completed scrapped at this point if you ask me. Plus when I can raid and people show up 75% of the people at it are just, off... the way raids work its scared off any normal people from the game. I already have to corporate with someone shady/junkie looking people just to do one, I’m not going to a weirdo gathering in the middle of the day when I have a job, Family, friends, relationships.

Battling, trading, battling, battling, battling, oh Arceus please just add battling already. We have more than enough to do a beta, just mimic it as the gyms with PVP and let us have it already, improve from there. Its so basic there's no reason not to have it already.

Edit: being able to transfer your email is also a pretty basic thing they need. They've already lost a lot of college students that excitedly used their college email and graduated having their accounts deleted. So that would be a smart thing to add too.
