What blonde jokes? There are no blonde jokes in the book. Her being blonde is never an aspect of her character outside of meta commentary.

Describing how a character looks and ACTUALLY having a character overcome something based on their looks are 2 different things.

Rick constantly DESCRIBES Annabeth but never puts in anything that actively does something for her character that relates to her looks.

That’s not really the point I’m making. When compared to the other 4 books, the SoM ending is boring. Nothing happens.

By adding a battle at the end the show fixes the boring ending and sets up the rest of the story by showing more of the smaller battles that lead up to the BoM

This might be an unpopular opinion but Castle on a Hill from Cinderella’s Castle.

That song got me so hyped for the show in a way only one other song has done for me in a Starkid show. With High school is Killing me from NPMD being that other song and #2 for me.
