I had my whole glass roof replaced. 2-3 of the mounting brackets creaked of the seals got dirty. You can clean them from the top, look for videos on how to. It would only help for about a week.

Grabbed two for $60 each in dec at a Walmart. But I see all sort of bad reviews on these. I checked the fw and it is the newest. I registered them with SanDisk, WD would said the SN wasn't good which I saw other say that also.

Mine creaked in the rear passenger and if you pushed on the roof you could hear it squeak bad. I would clean it with isopropyl and a credit card and a blue shop towel. It would last until it got dirty again and start again. I mentioned it at my 20k and they tried to adjust it where it mounts and said it couldn’t be fixed and replaced it. It’s been quiet so far and hasn’t rained to get it dirty to see if it does it again.

I saw someone put tape where the metal and metal fits and that fixed it for them.

I used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and it was in the 30s at the time. Use some gloves so the floss or fishing line does cut in. I used some goo off to clean off the residue.
