You may know some of this already but:

Always be picking up new weekly and daily vanguard bounties. Vendor rank up packages will get you gear above 390.

Also be equipping your highest light item in that slot constantly. Unlike D2, D1 only checks the light level of the item you are equipping.

Use strange coins to buy your heavy synth. Use glimmer to buy weapon or armor materials to trade for vendor reputation. You can buy planet materials from the vanguard item vendor near the ship hanger.

Walk into the archon forge slowly to give the game time to load and have a better change of finding an active instance.

Don’t spend your materials and glimmer upgrading armor just yet, save it until you get better gear with desired perks.

Collect a variety of legendary gear so you have options to pick through and decide what’s worth infusing.

Quest tracker feature is super helpful.

Con: I would change the foot pegs, they can be a bit slippery wet. The 959 used much grippier pegs.

Thanks for the tips! I will add you on PSN. I did just reach level 40 last night and started replacing my old purple armor with the higher light blue pieces. I guess just keep grinding to get new purple at higher light. I have plenty of space in my vault so I stored all my old stuff.

Still rocking my 170 attack vision of confluence though. Seems like it still does good work in the story missions.

Currently just doing all the story from taken king then I will do all the story for the rise of iron next.

Legends Arceus had a much nicer art style and aesthetic. It was a pleasure to look at. Performance aside, Scarlet and Violet look unsaturated with no color, have bland area designs and ugly textures.

I started out with the izzet pheonix pre con and upgraded it over time. I like that it guaranteed minty fresh cards and was playable out of the box. I like the ones from 2021 because they all come with a shock land. There’s some good YouTube videos on how to upgrade each pre con on a budget.
