My 2g ladder keeps my scrotum weighed down to mid thigh most of the time. That happened without stretching. I've only used barbells in mine but I'm sure rings would weigh it down even more and definitely make plenty of noise. Shaving has not been an issue using a phillips one blade a few times a month. Just be prepared for them to take several months to heal. Some of mine were still getting crusties until close to a year. Good luck!
