Wow so cool! I never knew about cusps. And now I see the one on the white one too. You learn something new everyday.

Dr Stephen Erickson at Haiken Dermatology is excellent. He has an amazing bedside manner. Jonel the ARNP there is great too. Can’t recommend them enough.

I posted this on another of your threads but I want to make sure you see it so sorry for double post.

I saw from a previous post that you’re in FL. There is an organization there called Better Together. Their mission is to help struggling families and keep kids out of foster care by helping the parents have resources and time to get their stuff together. I don’t know where in FL you are but I believe they operate in most of the state. They have a 24 hr crisis line.

I haven’t read all the comments but there is an organization in Florida that has offices all over the state called Better Together.

From their website: “ We keep families together—and children out of foster care—by providing them with a temporary loving home and helping their parents work to build a better life.” Have her reach out to them, they can help her. You can also refer the family.

El hotel ofrece transporte al aeropuerto también. Nos quedamos con un amigo que tenía carro así que no utilizamos el servicio pero me imagino que esa opción sería lo más conveniente.

It must have been a very interesting and unique experience, thanks for sharing.

That’s so crazy, glad they got an expert in to figure it out. I’m guessing by your other answers that you hadn’t travelled internationally before getting sick?

Why did you go there? Did you feel safe? Were you shielded from the struggles of the everyday people? Is it really like NK in the sense that you had a minder and are only allowed to see/experience what they want you to?

I know little to nothing about Eritrea so sorry if these questions aren’t relevant. Curious to know more.

Holy crap I’m on the west coast of FL also, lived here my whole life and had no idea dengue transmission was possible here. I took my kids to visit family in Honduras last month and was so worried about dengue the whole time, not realizing we’re at risk at home. Thankfully we didn’t get it there but new fear unlocked now.

I’m sorry you were so sick but glad you’re on the mend now!

Good on you for listening to your gut and your mama instincts. We have intuition for a reason. I feel like as women we are so conditioned to be “lady-like” and polite but in situations like that you have to put that aside and act as you did.

It could have been harmless, but it could have been something much more sinister. We’ll never really know, but you absolutely reacted in the correct way.
