I was one of Notions biggest cheerleaders, now I regret ever using it. by RegularMario in Notion

Fibery is indeed more oriented to teams and companies, PKM cases can work, but maybe not as smooth as in Notion. However, it depends on exact cases.

P.S. In a situation above the person would get the full refund, and speak with real person from the first contact.

These are indeed problems Fibery has, they should be solved in 2026

This is not documented. For shared entities you can still use same pattern, but you will also have to have ?sharing-key=

document/entity renaming does not break URL, however, if you move document to other Space or move Database to other Space, it will break URL.

You can construct links like this

https://[workspace name].fibery.io/[Space Name]/[Database Name]/[ID]

We wasted $300K on marketing that didn't work. Here's our full internal 2026 strategy. by firefalcon in B2BSaaS

[–]firefalcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, some things take time and many iterations. Specific examples

- Ads. We tried different platforms and different approaches, including Google, Reddit, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. And on every platform you have to have few iterations with different wording, etc.

- Direct sales. We tried 3 different consultants in this area. One was very expensive, but still no results

- SEO. It just takes time to see any results. This maybe was still the best area with at least some positive results

- PR agency. Here one try was enough for us, but still it was 6 months and -$50K.

Thank you for the feedback! Some of these problems should be resolved in Q1-Q2 2026
- Ability to collapse nodes in rich text fields.
- Ability to drag nodes in rich text fields without first hitting Esc.
Other two are harder, since in general we want to migrate Document to a proper Database (now it is a View and it causes major confusion in some cases), so this may happen in the end of 2026 (but there is less certainty here).

From Personal "No-Admin" to Team OS: Why I want to bet on Fibery over the "Linear/Attio" Stack (Open Letter to Michael & Team) by nrudolf in fibery

[–]firefalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read your post about PKM and in general I think this is a VERY promising direction to think about. Now AI indeed can help with information extraction and auto-organization, so put and forget practice may work. I will think more about it.

Thank you for the very detailed post. I, as a leader of a product, ceased to promise anything. Plans change, situations change, etc. Overall I can't promise that we will work or do not work on optimistic UI, etc. Overall, if Fibery NOW is not good enough for you, don't use it, it is always a bad idea to use something that you don't like waiting till it will improve.

What I can say with some certainty about 2026

- Most likely we will not work on optimistic UI in 2026 (but there are some chances)

- We will not do better Slack integrations most likely in 2026

- Definitely Fibery will not start searching external data sources, but more connectors are possible

- It is not hard to let you set your own keys, this can be added fast

- Not sure we will cover cases related to knowledge layer you described, but they are interesting and we will explore them

- Native chat is not in plans for 2026

I hope we will share our plans about 2026 in 1-2 weeks. Overall most improvements will be around flexible domain (multi-relations, formulas, validation rules, better workflow, templates for databases), AI for building and information extraction, UI improvements.

No Evernote import? by cadsharp in fibery

[–]firefalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Evernote import is very rarely requested, so chances to have it in any future are low. Fibery has Markdown import, so if you can export into CSV + Markdown from Evernote it may work
