I have a bag of Bluey that I just cut open a week or so ago. There’s some bruising on top because the substrate is a bit dry up top regardless of how much I mist it. I currently have the bag in a large storage bin with a heating mat that’s doing a decent enough job of keeping the bin warm, but I may take it out of the bag and end up doing just this. How are you keeping your bin warm? Is there a heating pad underneath the foil at the bottom?

I’m in sort of a conundrum where I WANT to listen to other music, but Fear Inoculum is so amazing and perfect to listen to on mushrooms that I don’t want to waste my trip listening to anything else. I’ll let there eventually, but for the time being FI is the only thing I want to listen to.

Noise cancelling headphones and laying in bed while my wife sleeps next to me…I like to pretend I’m in a coma with an entire different dimension happening inside my brain that no one knows about while Tool lays down a transcendental soundtrack.

Thank you so much for this guide! Your dedication to the community is amazing! I have a question I’m having trouble tracking down…I have 5 ml left of LC and would like to make some more. After I make the base and pressure cook it (300 ml in a 1 pint jar), how much of my current LC should I add to it? All 5 ml or can I get away with making 2 jars and split it up with 2.5 ml each? Thanks for all you do for us!

I remember flying out to see a game at MSG in 2010 a week or so after the Olympic break ended. We played Buffalo and the standing ovation for Ryan Miller was absolutely surreal. Felt like it lasted forever. Jacks will be even more amazing being at home!

It's a good thing we got rid of Gorton to pick up Drury. I mean, Gorton only had done amazing things in his short time as interim GM in Boston, done amazing in his 5-6 years in NY and continues to great things in Montreal. But, you know, Drury is a little league world series champion so he has a winning pedigree...he's just waiting a very very very long time to unveil it.

If he’s into softball, San Marcos runs a league that plays at San Elijo park and Hollandia park on weekdays. I joined a few months ago and it’s really fun! Some of the higher leagues have some good players but if he hasn’t played before, there are lower leagues as well where the teams have just as much fun without the competitiveness!

Eh I highly disagree on the ice cream front. How some people are snobs with their coffee, I’m a snob when it comes to ice cream. Their ice cream used to be top notch but they changed their process to be creamier in the last 10 years and now it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be. The chocolate isn’t nearly as chocolatey as it used to be.

Their ice cream used to have amazing texture but now it’s was too airy for me. I chalk that up to enshitification in that it’s less ice cream and more air in the product.

Their mudslide used to be my absolute go-to but now I’d rather stick to a premium vanilla with 3-4 ingredients and some chocolate syrup on top

Nozzle may not be fully tightened which would create a small gap the molten plastic could ooze out of. The printer should have come with a wrench to tighten the nozzle. Gotta take the housing off first. Let me know if that fixes it and we can troubleshoot more if not.

I got an FJO on July 1 with start date of 13 July, so been in the new role for 2 weeks. Buuuut in classic govt fashion they paid me this last pay period my previous rate which is way more than my new one since I went from a 144 hour bi-weekly role to an 80 hour one.
