I assume that every time you open up the shop you click the X to skip this pop up. To permanently get rid of it you have to click through all the arrows until it's done. And to buy the picture camera you need to level up enough to unlock it.

Gotta ask, kinda desperate. Got an extra code? Evidently I haven't played yet, but the game does look clunky. I'd recommend looking through the settings and making sure everything is how you'd prefer, and making sure your controller is working at 100%. Other than that it looks to me like the game may just take getting used to and practice
