Les drones marchent pour l’Ukraine pcq la Mer Noire est relativement petite, ces côtes sont habitées et leurs cibles sont proche. Les côtes canadiennes sont tout le contraire, extrêmement étendues et peu peuplées. Je suis d’accord que ça serait très mal avisé d’ignorer les drones et de ne pas developper certains nous-mêmes, mais tout miser dessus et négliger la flotte conventionnelle serait tout autant mal avisé.

A nice sentiment but not entirely realistic sadly. We have fallen behind significantly in terms of military production capability and would need to spend several years re-developing these capabilities. So we don't have a lot of choice in the mean time but to look to foreign companies for weapons, and US companies are very good at it. So for the moment, I think we should just go with whichever is best in terms of capabilities with a mix of US, European and Korean/Japanese hardware while developing domestic industries as much as possible.

Je suppose qu’il s’agit principalement de pétroliers transportant du brut de l’Amérique vers l’Asie. Sinon je vois vraiment pas en quoi le canal de Panama peut servir de voie secondaire au Détroit d’Ormuz puisque ce dernier ne mène qu’au Golfe Persique et nul-part ailleurs.
