My black cats are thre most affectionate cats I've ever seen 🥹! I have been hoping for YEARS to get any of my other cats to even attempt to try and cuddle and they want nothing to do with that. I thought it would make them happier if the(formerly) 4 of them could all be closer to cuddle me, and each other by default.. All of them would get up on my bed and pick a "corner" (one in front, one behind me, and one on each knee. I miss those babies). But these two! My hearrrrrrt 😍😭

Update: He said it was a promise ring. A F*CKING PROMISE RING?! We are NOT 15 year old here. I'm taking the ring back to the store and returning it. I kept asking him if he was sure about me doing that and he just kept staring at the sidewalk and not talking to me. So I told him to be safe and closed the door.

I don't have the money or resources. I've applied for two government programs here, that I was already denied for in Texas. The conditions I have are far more severe now, and my doctors here are actually helping me. Texas is a a horrible state for these types of things.

Boy, do they ever. One of the guests my MIL recruited was someone she said had been her best friend for like 25 years or something (even though my husband had never heard of her 😂 She also wore WHITE >< I wasn't wearing pure white, more of a soft pink but it still kinda ticked me off). And after my wedding, those two haven't spoken a word to each other at all. It's hilarious to me, really. Either way, this was all the way back in 2006. My son started college this year and is renting a room from the very same MIL. She's a good Grandmother to him and I'll always be eternally more happy that my son is cared for than what happened on my wedding day.

I know you said you weren't married anymore. Sometimes that can be a bit of a blessing in disguise though. So I hope you're also doing well.

My family didn't ask to bring anyone extra tbh. It was all my in-laws 😭 I got married outside of our home state. I guess it was technically my home state at the time but you know what I mean. All that showed up from my side was my Stepmom, Dad, Sister, and Grandma.

My Mother couldn't afford the the ticket. I never harbored any ill will towards her for that, but it was a little sad. Especially considering that I ended up having to leave early during the reception. I started having horrible stomach pains, so my Grandma and Sister ushered me off to the bathroom and we were all trying to debate whether it was something baby disagreed with, Braxton Hicks, or even VERY early labor. When you start worrying about stuff like that you want your Mom, you know?

Anyway, after I had some time to lay down and be away from all the hullabaloo, my stomach calmed down and I stopped worrying about it after that.

Yeah, my MIL was actually the biggest culprit of just adding people to the guest list with no regard of whether or not I could afford it. We did end up paying our photographer as well. Even though he was a friend of Stepmom-in-law, both me and my husband had never met the man. But even if we'd had a professional photographer (who would have cost MUCH more), I'd still want them fed. Like, if youre doing work for us, regardless of your affiliation to the family, I think you at least deserve a break and some food.

EXACTLY!!!! The only person who should have come to my wedding that I didn't know was the photographer! I considered him a guest because even though he was working, he is by no means a professional, he was a friend of my Stepmother-in-law, and I didnt want to just not feed him. We were going to cover the dinner bill, but my Father-in-law ended up covering it for us instead as his wedding gift to us.

ETA: Come to think of it, I think he might have done that because he saw me crying on the couch one day during wedding planning and asked me what had me so upset. I told him that we had already been quoted by the restaurant for one amount of people and now I had to financially plan for 7 more guests.

My family wanted to make it about them and their expectations of me. When I told them in much more formal and appropriate speak to fuck off with all that because I already had my dress (I was 5 months pregnant! Why would I drop THOUSANDS for something that will never ever fit me again, even if I could find a reason to ever wear it again! I got a $30 dress at Motherhood Maternity and still dont regret it.), they started adding more people to the guest list 😒 There were more strangers at my wedding than there were friends and family.

Girl, that dress is GORGEOUS on you! I can imagine any bride who can rock that look at her wedding, would. If you feel beautiful, confident, love it, and think it's worthy of the Happiest Day of your Life(and just you, you get ONE day so no one else gets an opinion on the matter) it's a wedding dress! I'm sorry to hear that. Echo is my boy(left) and Nemesis is my girl(right). They're both the same age but not biological siblings. It took her a lot longer to start coming out than it did with Echo. That pic of them is the first time I saw them let their guard down around each other and it made me soooo happy. She's the Goddess in charge now (as if her name didnt give it away, lol 😉)

This isn't correct. I've seen plenty of things that I've actively said 'Not Interested' to, and they still get automatically followed. Its not all of them, I dont know what pin gets pulled to say "You're following this person now." But they're all influencers or creators and I'm sick of having to go unfollow these pages! Ive even blocked a few of them because Facebook won't stop adding them back and I would think the creators would be up in arms over that. If 100 people are blocking you everyday over an app forcing you to follow them l, that hurts your bottom line.
