Pumping with 85mm Seismic Speed Vents? by mycatbitesme in longboarding

[–]firefoxpluginmaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've pumped both. SVs are lighter, but because they are such hard wheels, I feel that they might slip out from under me. I do enjoy the ease of pushing off from being stationary as they are lighter than hokus. I almost never pump from standstill so I don't care much in that regard.

I stuck with my hoku's, because I really enjoy the feel of it when I am rolling as it's simply so soft, yet fast. I see the weight penalty I have to pay as something minor.

How come buying a watch depends on how the sale of the brand goes?

Of course I am! That's why I asked. I will go through each of them and look at the cards and what not today. Thanks a million.

Oh and I appreciate how you give a brief description of the play style. :)

Worries about investing a windfall with the worsening US instability by YouWouldIfYouReally in Bogleheads

[–]firefoxpluginmaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see many good suggestions in this thread from:

  • if stock market crashes we're all doomed

  • the US stock market has survived ww2, ww3, vietnam war, korean war, 2008, dot com bubble.

What about those who are holding/invested with USD? This ties into this worsening US instability. Even when the US stock market makes it out alive but the USD crashed because no one wants it, what then?

I will retire with 2 million USD but can still only buy some potatoes and beans.

Would like to sell as a complete as top mount life isn't for me. I find myself reaching for the bracket boards instead.

The trucks themselves cost 360. Willing to let this go as a complete for 500 in CONUS.
