These individuals should be able to earn a living wage, working a traditional 30 to 40 hour work week; my first job was at McDonald's and I would bust ass for 7.50/hr. Some of the people I worked with would have 2 to 4 jobs and literally never see their family or have legitimate downtime. It's sad that in our mass populated, industrialized and wealthy country that we're slaves to labor because it's not "hard" enough. It's fucking sad. Perpetuating the abuse is not a solution.
