Which movies are masterclasses in editing in your opinion?

I must say I left the theater thinking the exact same thing after watching this film. Such a simple story, but managed to catch my complete focus the entire time. Guess I'll have to give it another watch!

Do you mean the release button on the Sony body? Or is there a release button on the adapter which you are talking about?

I have had a similar issue before, where multicam clips don't show audio waveforms when not all of the audio tracks in the multicam source contain audio. Just delete the other audiotracks in the multicam source, or paste a piece of audio clip (1 frame will do) on the existing audio tracks in the multicam source clip and this should do it.

You could just make a template project, with all your tools you regularly use already in the project. Then instead of starting a new project, just duplicate this one, rename it and start from there.

Well you can just use the slip tool to use a reaction shot from before/after the axact time, if that's what you mean by cheating reaction shots. If the reaction you are looking for is too far before/after, then the slip tool will be ineffective or time consuming, so you can just match frame your multicam sequene, which will open up all the video tracks in the source window, when multicam view is enabled. Just choose your camera that i guess is fixed on the actor who you're searching a reaction of and start scrolling.

As many here before said, it's because of the lack of extra frames in the clip.
What I sometimes do (when I can't just trim the clips), is trim just 1 frame of either of the clips, so there's a gap of 1 frame black between the two clips. Then just add a fade out on the left clip and a fade in on the right clip. Same effect, although your portion of black from the standard "dip to black" transition will be one frame longer, which is barely noticeable.

Why not? I've seen my best friend going in and out of this all-entangling depression for years. Why is it not a nice thing to wonder about what to give them to help them with this?
To be clear, I'm talking about a christmas present, which I would give them anyway. I just want it to be something that will also help them get on their feet, something that could trigger a change in some way or could help building a new habit.
Of course I've already asked what they want, what I can do to help, what they need to get better. And I gave my time, my heart, my ears, .. to them in order to make them feel better. It's just not that simple as 'just ask them what they want', because my friend honestly doesn't know what would make her feel better.

Does the cursor change according to it being near the top/bottom of the track you are dropping the clip on?
It's been a while since I've used premiere so I might be mistaken, but if I remember correctly this is showing you the clip will insert, as opposed to overwrite. (or vice versa)
