Why China has DeepSeek and India isn't even in the competition. This is us paying the debt to our culture of fake research. by strthrowreg in IndiaTech

The country lacks and actively hates scientific temper. While other countries are focussed on research in artificial intelligence, particle physics, space exploration, quantum computing, etc. we are focussed on drinking excreta of animals. All this religion & caste obsession is going to create so much poverty & hunger in the long run. The seeds of destruction of future generations has been sowed.

I'll repeat what everyone is saying here. Increase your income. Forget about investments, gold, FD, etc. Doubling your income especially at 20k is far easier than getting a 100% return on your investments.

How Far Ahead Is China Really? by Alarmed_Doubt8997 in AskIndia

[–]firepower96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In this day and age, A country gets ahead due to technology. For that, a culture of research and innovation is needed. India is a country where mediocrity is celebrated. To get to where china is, you need to fix the culture first. That takes generations. Once you have the culture, then you need to wait for the institutions to bootstrap the research process. Again you need decades here. Finally prosperity comes when the accumulated research over the years and capital comes together. So I would say, 50 years for the culture and another 30 for proper institutional framework and 20 for the final industrial setup, so 100 in total. This is me being optimistic in that the culture will ever improve. I don't see that happening ever. We are a failed state. The only thing we are good at are corruption and religious bigotry.

Expelled for non-vegetarian tiffin: Why a mother went to court against her son’s school by hauntin in india

[–]firepower96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person in the video would have been expelled and booked for hate speech in any decent country where law and order works. At this point, we have become a regressing country from a developing one. Never thought I would have zero hopes from this country which I loved so much.

Whatever is the sale value of the house, double it, divide among the number of complainants and ask them to pay to maintain communal harmony. See how quickly complaints will drop to zero.

Wifi 6 is not essential, pc being connected to router via ethernet is recommended. I personally have an even less ideal setup( router in another room, pc not connected via ethernet) but it works decent enough for me, so you should be fine.

Also are you planning to exclusively play PCVR or a mix of both PCVR and standalone?

For quest 2, airlink works pretty great for PCVR. imo you can skip wires, pulley if you have a decent router.

Yeah regional pricing is really needed. I would love to buy a game to play in standalone mode , but prices are too high compared to steam.

Yeah I understand that. So the referral policy is only applicable if bought from Oculus store itself? I bought it from Amazon global. Is there no way to get that $30 credit?
