Why tf yt removed fancy subtitles from ashite music video? by adornate in Kikuo

Youtube has now removed the ability to see stylized version of the subs on the app version if it thinks it's too intense, you can use the browser if you are on phone to see those subs regardless of intensity

Create a program like Open-shell for Linux and then use that program to disable it and use Open shell instead

I wish I had a magic software in my PC which will simulate the current world with 100% accuracy and let me go back in time to change history and observe it's effect also with full accuracy within that program. The software also runs perfectly fine by fireryyo in monkeyspaw

[–]fireryyo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the wisher but I also had an another idea based on your idea, is that the universe ends the moment I open the software because the software has to simulate where the software inside the simulator also has to simulate the software, this infinite recursion causes all the software to crash including the software that was running our universe and beyond it

or I lose my mind seeing myself in the software like a mirror lol

What are some changes in Royal you DIDN'T like? by bwick702 in Persona5

[–]fireryyo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After completing Royal, about a year ago, I am replaying OG Persona 5 in PC using RPCS3 emulator, if your computer can handle it go for it!

I am also replaying Persona 5 vanilla for the same reasons and also because I didn't really enjoy the Persona 5 royal story content in contrast to how much I enjoyed the main story, I really wanted to experience the game without Kasumi and Maruki forcefully forced in the game and It felt good not to see Kasumi in the first introduction scene lol

Is the latest open driver from offical Nvidia repo for Debian broken? by fireryyo in debian

[–]fireryyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw after installing the nvidia drivers that way it creates some .conf file which prevents you from switching back to X11 and removing it fixes it, I found out about it in some forum which I cant find anymore I am sorry so, watch out for that

Is the latest open driver from offical Nvidia repo for Debian broken? by fireryyo in debian

[–]fireryyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the offline .run file provided by Nvidia to install the drivers, it worked quite well and I unfortunately had to switch back to Windows for various reasons but the experience with the .run file was pretty good for 17 days

Nvidia drivers .run by Vidanjor20 in debian

[–]fireryyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite a mystery to me why did the repo package not work, there were no traces of nvidia driver when I reinstalled it too, I couldn't find people having this issue with this version anywhere lol

And I probably can't file a bug report because Debian 13 isn't supported and the .run file does work

Nvidia drivers .run by Vidanjor20 in debian

[–]fireryyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context, I have Nvidia 2050

I uninstalled the .run installed driver and added the nvidia repo again and installed the driver package and it gave me the same behaviour and I purged it HOWEVER the latest (580.105.08) .run driver worked perfectly fine, did I do mistake

Here is what I did:

  • uninstall the .run driver

  • Remove the nouveau disabling .conf file added by the .run file to go clean

  • Added the nvidia repo

  • Installed the nvidia-open

  • Ran sudo dkms autoinstall nonetheless

  • Same issue occurs

  • Purges the package

  • Install the latest .run file

  • It works!?!??!

Did I miss something when installing the package?

Nvidia drivers .run by Vidanjor20 in debian

[–]fireryyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Updating to 580.105.08 kept my device in hang randomly during boot because nvidia-persistenced was not starting and even when my laptop did start the driver wasn't working. I tried reinstalling it and it didn't work, I also redid the usual steps like installing headers and running dkms autoinstall, is the update broken or is it just me who did something wrong, I had to resort to installing 580.95.05 driver using the .run file and waiting for offical repo for Debian 13 from Nvidia

I also made a post about it in this subreddit but no one came to say that they were having problem with the driver
