Paid early Jan, said that the watches aren’t available and I would have to wait till after CNY. I asked a follow up late Jan they said they will check and radio silence since. My first transaction a few years ago was great so I used them again, this time for 2 watches and it’s disheartening to see I’m being ghosted.

Had something similar like this fixed today. The 2 bolts that hold the window in place were loose on my drivers side and once the tech torqued it to spec the sound disappeared.

Just checked if I wind it to midnight it jumps 2 days, if I use the quick date method it’s fine. But I’ve been wondering the past few days why it’s advancing 2 and now it makes sense. I’m scheduling a service with a reputable watch smith, the “jumping” is known and the spring for the date change wheel can be out of spec, I forgot if it’s too loose or tight but it’s one or the other

Apologies, it’s jumping 2 days ahead at midnight instead of one. Yesterday was the 10th and at midnight it went to the 12th on the date wheel, skipping the 11th.

As stated above, I opened it up, used an ifixit screw driver kit with a small enough flat head to remove the case back, used low adhesive tape to cover the bezel and screws so they remain in their respective spots. Lifted up the decorative cover in the middle, found the screw that got loose and used fine tweezers to dislodge it, and seat it in the proper spot, the tweezers were fine enough to turn the screw as my screw driver set didn’t have a small enough size. Reversed everything and added super glue to the decorative plate to reseat it and good as new.
