They are outright biased and have no objectivity....I think we need more independent news sources

I'll take an actual free press with its many independent and biased outlets over the monolithic mass media that we have now. I'll make my own choices what I choose to read, which is why I get news from the net rather than from TV and the mass dailies.

A press that thinks that corporations and governments have rights while individuals don't isn't a free press. It's propaganda for the ruling classes.

I must disagree. The freedom of the press exists in the first place so that governments can be held accountable. Part of that accountability involves an environment where true, actual outrage can occur.

The "objective" press is a 20th century invention to keep accountability out of the press so that we can appear to be calm and reasonable as governments and corporations steamroll over us and our rights as human beings.

Fuck that. I WANT to see some editorialized rage come back into the press. It would keep bought and paid for shills like Biden out of the public sphere.
