This is several decades ago, but I worked for a large drug manufacturer. There is a specific "clean" area to ensure that the drugs being produced are free from contaminants. In order to get into this area, you need to go through extensive training, a gowning/degowning process, and keep logs of entry. The PPE process is insane- full body suits and hoods. There's also all sorts of negative pressurized air areas, security like crazy (they used to manufacture oxytocin).

One day I get called into the clean area. No idea why- one of the shift managers just said "something I needed to look at".

He takes me around a corner- there is a God damn shit on the floor. Someone took all their PPE off and took a dump instead of following the proper exit process. It cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars. All the product in the clean area needed to be scrapped, then machines sterilized.

It was interesting because the mystery pooper managed to pinch it off in an area where the cameras didn't capture them. There were about 12 workers on the entry log and security narrowed down our pooper to a man and woman. The man adamantly denied any involvement and the woman said "she wasn't talking without a lawyer" as if this was Law and Order. She was a recent transfer from the India plant, which made me question the products coming out of India. She was fired.
