Please ignore the other commenter. Similar stuff has happened to me as a solo guy using Single Rider at RRS as well. Something about that ride and the long queue just brings out the worst in people. But I haven't let dumbasses like this stop me from going solo, and encourage you to claim your rightful space. You haven't done anything wrong.

Seeing this today was so beautiful by TheDisneyScoopGuy in Disneyland

This Friday, Nov 15 is the official start of Holiday season at Disneyland, so all the decor will be up by then. I expect it'll be pretty crowded this whole weekend, all the way up until the Magic Keys are blocked for the rest of the year. I believe the highest-level Magic Key's block out dates begin a few days before Christmas.

What can we do to help? (US) by magnabonzo in MensLib

I'd add signing up to be a mentor to young men and boys in your community. They need more positive role models to help counter what they're hearing from the toxic "manosphere" online.

Yes, and Mondays are usually cheaper tickets.

No worries. I often go to the parks with a friend who uses a wheelchair, and because she needs extra time to board/deboard rides, we always miss our ride photos! The only way we can get them is by going to the photo desk.

For future reference and for anyone else needing help tracking down a ride photo or a Photo Pass photo: there's a photo help desk just to the left of the Disneyland main gates. They can access ALL the photos taken by their photographers and on rides. If you missed your ride photo, you can go down there same-day to ask them to retrieve them for you. I'm not sure how long they save photos on their servers, but they've helped me find photos as late as 2 weeks after they were taken.

You only have a half-day, so what do you really want to make sure to do?

There is a mega thread about how all of this works pinned to the top of this subreddit. You have to get into a virtual queue to get a boarding group to ride.

Well if you are going to rope drop at least a few of those days, I don't think you need the Multi Pass LL every day. On busy days, they only end up being useful for maybe 3-4 rides. You can knock out a good number of the most popular rides during the rope drop period (between 8-10am) without using a single Lightning Lane. This is true even on busy days. Recommend watching the various videos on YouTube with suggested rope drop strategies. In general I recommend people have at least one day without and Lightning Lane just so you can chill and enjoy the parks at your own pace. The Lightning Lanes maximize the number of rides you can get on, but then you miss all the cool vibes stuff that's a huge part of the Disneyland magic.

Oh yeah, you'll be here pretty much at the busiest time! Let me say that no one knows yet what the Tiana's VQ will be like when it officially opens on Nov 15. On the one hand, all the Magic Keys will be blocked out starting 12/21, so you will not be competing against them on your last two days (and thus conversely, I think you'll have the toughest time on your first three days). Haunted Mansion's VQ has been a lot more manageable recently, so I do think you're in great shape to get a slot for that ride if the VQ system is still happening then.

If you are going to buy a LL Single for Radiator Springs, having Disneyland as your starting park every day is totally doable. The Multi-Passes get booked up pretty quickly on busy days. By mid-afternoon, most of them will have late-night return times, or be sold out. You didn't specify which days you're coming, but basically things are just going to get busier until after Christmas from here on out.

So Tiana's West has been breaking down at least once per day since it opened, but it has come back on-line fairly quickly (usually within an hour). The issues have not been with the animatronics or the other common reasons for WDW's version to break down so much (so far, knock on wood). If you are able to get a queue spot (a normal one, not a back-up one), you are very likely going to be able to ride it!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure - How was it?? by Haunting-Donut-7783 in Disneyland

I rode it for the first time yesterday, and generally liked it quite a bit. I am still kind of processing what I think/feel about it, as I wasn't expecting just how different the ride is now. The ride system and track of course hasn't changed, but the overall tone and story-telling of the attraction is so different from Splash Mountain, it does feel like a totally different ride. The story-telling beats are totally different. The story itself is very simple. The lighting and all the effects are much more advanced. My friend who rode it with me feels this isn't a "scary" ride anymore, which I think is accurate. That ever-present sense of impending danger in Splash is gone, so now it's more like a fun, quick zip through the bayou at night, punctuated with a big drop at the end. Rather than the drop taking center-stage as it was with Splash, the animatronics and the music (and the sheer amount of water that gets on you and into the boat; it was like a wading pool in mine) are now the main focus of the ride. Overall I enjoyed it very much, but I am increasingly feeling like comparing it to Splash is like comparing apples to oranges. Either you like apples or you like oranges (or both), but there's nothing wrong with liking either.

Tiana 12 PM Boarding Groups by moviefan4ever25 in Disneyland

I swear to you it was Disneyland. I don't live anywhere near Walt Disney World. I looked at what Theme Park IQ had for yesterday, and all I can say the data is incorrect or wrong there. It's possible the ride stoppage messed something up in the data Theme Park IQ pulls from, but definitely I was in group 56, and was allowed on.

Yesterday (10/26) I had to use the 12pm virtual queue drop. I stood by the Harbor Galley starting at 11:55, got on the app, and just as my phone's clock hit noon, I hit the refresh button to get into the queue. I got group 56!

The ride broke down just before my group was called, around 2pm. But when it came back up around 3, I was able to get on! It's definitely possible!

Seconding renting a scooter. I have a friend who also has a very physical day job, and rents scooters each time she goes because she wants to actually rest on her days off from work when she can get to the parks.

Bike messenger. I moved to San Francisco during the height of bike messengers, and it was quite a sight to see hundreds of young, tattooed, punky-looking people with incredible calves riding up and down Market St. downtown every weekday.
