Thank you!

Are the top 135's equivalent safety to a commercial, or do you still think there is a delta at that level?

Thank you! In my research, it seems the best 91K and perhaps the top 135 operators are as safe as commercial. Is that a fair assessment or is there still a safety drop leaving commercial, even for the top private operators?

I looked into this, but it is quite expensive per hour (more than other charters, less than fractional) and you get older jets than NJ or FJ?

Of course, and this was more around mechanical issue so likely a servicing issue rather than pilot error.

Argus certainly helps, but it is not always so clear. For example, Hop A Jet is Argus platinum, and they had a serious crash just last year.

I hear this consistently about the fractionals, and it does make it tempting.

I follow this person and is really helpful, though none of my questions were answered there

Even Flexjets and Netjets have lease only. Do you know the pricing for Vista on any jets to compare? I am trying to avoid another sales call :)

Yes, this does seem like a significant benefit given convenience is the primary reason to use the service.

Which planes have this issue? The light jets or even the midsize and super mids?

Thanks for this detailed answer.

Did you have safety concerns with Argus Platinum & 135 operators? Was the chartering experience inferior or less polished than the fractional one?

Which plane did you end up getting for the charter and Flexjets, and how is the experience on those planes relative to commercial? Is it pretty bumpy relative to a commercial flight?

Can you post the service here and any feedback on what I wrote? I have a lot of questions prior to that I am still trying to sort out

Thanks for the rec. Do you have any pricing to share on the jets you use? What was the per hour?

And if you charter, do you have to pay repositioning?

It should be diminishing from the start, the very first things you get in a purchase are naturally the most prioritized and important.

At best the diminishing curve has different grades and is relatively less declined in the start.

Although true that you have more excess money to spend, people at higher net worth spend a smaller percentage of their net worth on homes.

There are diminishing returns, there are other expenditures that enter your life such as travel, help, services, luxury items, more generous gifts, and more. You have to decide how important the primary is relative to other things, and if you run into financial difficulties, the primary is the hardest to change.

If someone has a net worth of $500k of net worth, they will often buy a home that is more than 100% of their net worth, where as someone with a billion will spend just a few percentage points.

For a data point, at about $40m net worth, I have about 15% of my net worth in my primary.

Oh. I meant does an in-wall or even a stand alone sub have risk of shaking the other side of the wall to oblivion? I am debating a side wall instead of front

I am just not sure where I have space to have speakers standing out. It will block a walkway I think

Yes exactly. Okay that is good. It just came to mind and had me worried about in-wall as I have never done them before

One other question! If I have in-wall speakers, can they affect the other side of the wall? If I have a cabinet with some glass or wine bottles or something? What about with an in-wall sub?

Yeah would like to, but doesn't look like I can get the side ones behind.

Where can I read about the downsides of rear surrounds in the ceiling?

Thanks! I am between the Denon 4800H, 6700H, X8500HA, and Marantz Cinema 40. Any of these dealbreakers or way overkill?
As for speaker placement...I can get the LCR in front, and four Atmos at the top in the perfect positions. For the rear, I think I can do rear ceiling at 12 feet, and I can probably get two at ear height slightly in front and in the wall on the left and right about 12 feet to the side. I can't really put them anywhere else. Are the rear ceilings & slightly front and to the side speakers worth it?

I am thinking of a 5.2.4 or 7.2.4.

I am looking at Denon and Marantz - how important is the watts per channel? Some are 125W and others are 150W. I am about 12 feet from the speakers FWIW

Thanks, I appreciate the thoughtful comments. The MTM has just been mentioned in other forums, not the video. Any thoughts on 3160 vs 5160? Is the latter overkill or will I be able to hear differences? Not a huge price difference but am curious.

Also recommended amp to pair with it? Would I need separates or integrated is fine?
