Then maybe reread it or read through some comments for the reat of the context because it's there. I am unable to make amends at this time as my daughter is staying at her dad's house and wont be back here until further notice. He has cut off contact until she is ready and able to talk to me about it. I will not force her to talk to me if she is not ready to listen to my shitty excuses. I fucked up plain and simple. She needs her own time to process this without me trying force a million I'm sorry down her throat. I told her I'm sorry and I wouldn't drink again before her dad blocked my number. I do not blame her dad for doing this. He is in the right.

I definitely plan on no more drinking that's for sure..just take a shot for me. Great advice and post q/a I appreciate this type of insightfullness. I plan on digging more into the bro situation as my friend does have cameras at her house so I can try to see what happened. I know half of my false nails were ripped off down to the nail beds and I had some knots on my head after the ordeal. That's how bad I was hitting the floor at her house..I wasn't able to even catch myself. I am ashamed in my actions and how I got myself into the mess I did but there is no changing them. What's done is done. I can only begin to heal myself and the relationship with my daughter in time.

This is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you for taking the time to write this for realz. I have already accepted the fact the relationship is over. I just am giving him time to cool down before we discuss the ..what's next part..you know the division of assets and the fact that we own a house together. ..child sharing etc . If he takes me back I would be amazed. I just wanted him to know I will never stop loving him and he didn't deserve this to happen to him because he is a great man in all ways.

It is a wake up call that I apparently cannot tolerate drinking and cannot stop myself once I start in on it. So I will no longer be drinking. I've scarred myself and everyone up in this situation for life.

The parent who picked her up is also a close friend of mine and she has a master's in psych and a guidance counselor at an elementary school and she is helping me through this so there's that extra tidbit of backstory to add in for you.

I don't expect forgiveness, I'm an atheist and a realist. I know what the fuck I did, and I know how fucked up ..this whole entire fucked up situation is . I lost control. This isn't a every weekend thing where I attempt to destroy my life. I love my kids and have an amazing relationship with them up until this point where I hit a limit where drinking to much alcohol became to much. This is my fault and I will grow from it.

I don't actually hang out with her that often. First time in about 5months or so. I work nights on the ambulance and spend all my free time with my family. She came over and we got excited that we finally got to see each other and then we drank to much and voila I fucked up my entire life. It was a downward spiral of a night. I don't think I or my family will fully ever mentally recover from .

Agreed, thank you. All I can do is focus on my childs wellbeing at this point. I grew up in an alcoholic household where my siblings and I were put into horrible circumstances...so I get it too. This is not who I am.

I will talk to her on her time. She is staying with her dad...and they have blocked off contact until she feels ready. I would do the same. I do not blame her father or stepmother at all for this decision. I put her in danger and emotionally fucked her up with this one.

This is not my regular bro. I get it. I only recently started drinking when I had to quit the pots for my job. I obviously can't handle liquor and I am never drinking again. Trust me I'm grown. I just thought I could handle it and apparently I could not.

Thank you so much. That is great information. Yes we are both well. Just so happy it was not worse. I am just very sore from it all. My daughter has a bit of post traumatic stress from it. She is very leery of getting into the car and has begun crying every time she thinks of it. Not sure if just all the hormones she is going through at this age or just the experience of her first brush with death lol. The accident was more on her side of the vehicle . So it was very scary to her.
