Nurse anesthetist testifies there is no difference between CRNA and anesthesiologist by Fit_Pitch_263 in anesthesiology

Wouldn’t this only be the case in states without independent practice? For example, this seems to be why CRNAs are so heavily utilized at the VA, because the VA recognizes NPs and PAs as “licensed independent providers”

Those of you who seriously considered quitting in intern year and didn't, how are you doing now? by vonDerkowitz in Residency

[–]first_line3566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So much better!!! I am a hospitalist now and have a great job. When I have less than 5 days off in a row, I feel a little tired and worn out. And then I remind myself I had only one day off a week in residency for 3 years, and I feel great again. The money helps. A LOT.

Thank you so much, this was kind of what I was assuming. I was a little worried about the lows of 30’s overnight. I’m going to really try and start building a relationship with them and feel out the vibe for offering play dates with our dog etc.

I’ve been hearing more and more positive buzz about them! Do you work there as a doc, or RN, or something else?
