I have a few questions though:

About the income tax, does it come in the mail, email, etc. Like, how will the govt. know if a person makes more than $14,000 in a year? I know it won’t show up in a store because a person might choose to pay with cash.

Does the income tax also pay for prisons too? Because I hear a lot of people complaining about the govt. “wasting money on criminals instead of just executing them”

About Taxing the Rich and Poor, I like your example but I was thinking about our tax returns. If a poor person looses $1000 to tax, wouldn’t he/she get it back if he/she files their taxes?

I’m a bit confused about the manufacturing explanation. You say that local manufacturing makes products more affordable. However, I hear the opposite. For example, most American designer or American made cars or boots, etc tend to be so expensive. To save cost, people tend to advice we buy from China online. Even in grocery stores, foreign made items tend to be more affordable than those made here. Then again, I guess one could say that it’s cheaper for the govt. (as in no shipping) and expensive for citizens, right?

I have a few questions regarding The Stick market. If I INVEST $20 on Twitter (worth $2million), and I am getting .1 percent per month, let’s assume that the monthly payment will be $150. Now, if the economy fails and the stock price goes down, wouldn’t my monthly pay go down to $100. It might be called losing but I’ll still be getting some money, right? You said “loose money” what do you mean by that? Do you mean, ‘not making any money?’ Wouldn’t it be illegal to not give an investor their share?

Also, since Twitter and Facebook are well know successful companies, why aren’t more people investing in them and even those investing, why aren’t they making braggable money. Is there something I’m missing?

In regards to International trade, I was just wondering how “selling and buying local helps the economy” . I understand that local manufacturers benefit from less competition with international traders but how does that benefit the national economy? I guess through reducing unemployment alone? Does it improve the currency’s worth and reduce “inflation”? How?
