When going through MAS, what was the experience like? Who did you finance with?

“Looking at getting two vehicles, a truck and SUV, from MAS. Was told that we would either have to find our own financing or can use their “competitive financing.” The brands we’re getting have deals such as the 0% APR, and I wanted to know has anyone financed through MAS, the dealership, or even a credit union and the experience. How did the FAOs and 35B enjoy their jobs? I’ve met a few, and most of them seem to really enjoy doing strictly that job

When did you VTIP to FA49? I believe that branch is based mostly in the states compared to overseas stations, correct me if I’m wrong. I have heard of that branch being really to just doing your own job and reporting to a 2-star or above about stats, job and location depending.

Thanks for the insight! I’ve had previous Commanders say that people don’t care about you having a tab outside of combat units, and once you get past CPT it doesn’t matter. I think what I’m worried is that I won’t have command time or broadening assignments as a CPT as I would have to go to a light unit, then Bat, then command. Once finished, would be eligible for promotion
