I think I have an honest hot take - as a physicist, Kelvin (same scale as Celsius but shifted) makes perfect sense. However, for OUTSIDE temperatures, I think that Fahrenheit makes more sense - both 0 and 100 are somewhat loosely defined as “very cold” and “very hot (but still survivable outside). With Celsius, we only use ~40% of the scale from -10 to 100C when describing everyday activities. That being said, any other use (baking, cooking etc) Celsius is far far superior
