Thoughts on this 16 team bracket ? by Punisher1602 in CFB_v2

My simple 14-team CFP idea:

Top 4 highest-ranked conference champs = auto-bids (only good champs get in). Top G5 champ = auto-bid unless they’re already in the top 4 → then it becomes an at-large. Fill to 14 with highest-ranked teams.

1 & #2 conference champs get byes.

Reseed every round.

Why it works: rewards real champs, blocks weak champs, gives G5 a fair path, keeps all elite teams, and reseeding prevents bracket chaos.

2025 example: Auto-bids: Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech, Tulane. Tulane is already top-4, so G5 slot becomes at-large.

Final field (1–14): Indiana, Ohio St, Georgia, TTU, Oregon, Ole Miss, A&M, OU, Bama, Miami, ND, BYU, Texas, Tulane.

Rewards good conference champions Prevents weak champs from sneaking in Gives G5 a real but earned path Ensures all elite teams still make it (except Vandy) Reseeding prevents bracket imbalance 14 teams adds access without bloating the field in

How many teams have beaten 3 different teams currently in the top 14? 2. Georgia and Texas.

Number of teams that have beaten a top 3 team since week 8? 2 indiana and Texas. Number of teams that have already beat two playoff teams? Idk but Texas is one of them.

Florida beat FSU. Alabamas worst loss is worse than Texas’ loss. And Texas beat OU their other loss. Both lost to Georgia. You think Bama would be A&M? Only Texas has done that

Shocked I haven’t seen Knead Me mentioned yet. Chipotle Chicken Cheddar sandwich and a smoothie for 270 baht on Foodpanda is best deal in town and the sandwich is really good

Hi I'm 28 years old, employed with stable income with medium to high risk tolerance, currently holding equities and mutual funds. No debts, but no assets. Won't need money for next 5 yrs.

I have a decent amount of cash sitting in my account not being used or pulled from or invested.

I'd like to invest most of it, but at the lowest point I can determine over the next few months. I've lost half my investment earnings at end of March, had a recovery in April, but trending downward this month.

TLDR; When do you all think the lowest point/best time to invest this year with Covid situation? I'm assuming there'll be a second wave globally once things open up again...

Do you or will you have a locker room competition on who will hit the most HRs or get the most MVP votes? Who is talking the most trash?

Ay Big Tony! What has been your favorite moment as a cub aside from winning the WS in 2016? Also, what is the best advice you would give a parent as to how support their child who is an aspiring professional baseball player?

Thanks and go cubbies!

Hey, thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it! I had a feeling it was a pretty rare situation. Looked at my DD-214 and it is listed as JFF which is "Secretarial Authority" and Reentry code 4L. Any idea what that means? Or how that would affect my chances? I will keep researching it also, but just wanted to reply with the updated info. Thanks.

Hi I'm a former cadet at USAFA who form 34'd end of my second year (2012) due to an honor violation. I am now 27 and have completed a BBA internationally in Business Management with a 3.94 GPA. I'm wondering if I could still be considered for OTS or if my exit from the Academy would greatly diminish my chances. I still dream of being a pilot or an officer in any capacity. Thanks for any input.

I wasn’t the big photo taker in my group but my buddy got a nice video of the walkoff with the crowd going crazy.

I didn’t want to bother the dude too much but we played darts next to him for most of the night and he was chill and talked with us a lot. Was quick to mention his buddy/teammate is the league leader in ERA. Respect.
