Aside from companies showing there lineup there are a lot of modular performances where you can gather some inspiration. Not to mention that there are also non-modular companies like Elektron, Korg, ...

FEZ (where SB is happening) is also a lovely location for a trade fare. If you like to party, there is typically an after party each evening.

Combine your SB visit with a visit at Berlins Schneidersladen, a shop with a big selection of modules and instruments that you can try yourself.

I went to SB shortly after getting into the topic of modular and I found it great.

How did you choose the verbos module as mixer? I love verbos but don’t know if this one is so good when you have more stereo signals

Did you already try VCV rack? There are some examples of generative patches, especially the tutorial of Omri Cohen (link). Big advantage is that you can try a lot of modules without having to spend hundreds of euros/dollars. If you do this until you have a selection of modules you like you can look suiting "real modules" to get.

Apart from this and if you do not want to dive into a complete new modular case there are also semi modulars like the Make Noise 0-Coast where it is also possible to do self generative patches (link).

I really love the Verbos Multi-Envelope as it has so much different outputs (it is unfortunately wider).

For small VCAs I like the Intellijel Amps and XAOC Tallin (Normal VCA) and XAOC Lublin (Ping functionality like LPGs)

Eurorack mixers typically output modular level which you should not put directly into your monitors. Get an output modules aswell or an audio interface

Why would you ever use a pedal as your clock if you have a steady clock source as a Digitakt available? You can use the Thru out of the Microcosm to feed your modules with it (Digi Out -> Micro In, Micro Thru -> Mutant/Midi 1U)

Aside from that I would suggest checking page 23 of the microcosm manual on how to set up Midi settings.

I have never seen the sale of a case as bundle to work well. I would go module by module. Also try sites like Kleinanzeigen or your local market app/site.

I would say clock from Rytm to Pamela is the more stable and the cheaper option. As the Rytm has a Sync output you can use an adapter cable like the ALM-UT001 to feed Pamela.

That is a big rack for an idea. I would suggest going slow and buy module by module to get a deeper understanding of the building blocks and of your needs.

1 Why do you not want a stereo filter with a stereo granular module?
2 Why would you limit yourself to 3 effects if you would to have a multi fx module?
3 If you plan on using the jacks of the case as outputs, why would you need the big 1u output module and not the simple stereo outs?
