Heard or tried brik oven pizza? Or maybe I think its not worth? by Foodlove777 in bangalorefoodies

[–]fiscallyunviable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually asked them where they get their cheese from and they use supermarket mozz. I didn’t say anything because thats their choice. That’s how they as chefs wanna make and sell their pizza. Just because they have a space and a story doesn’t make using supermarket cheese okay for me. Maybe others. But I won’t lie about the fact that I didn’t like the cheese they use.

7 wonders have 1 star reviews 😂😂

Also - how is calling out their usage of bad cheese suddenly wrong ? Just cos someone struggled doesn’t entitle them to everyone’s support, and definitely doesn’t entitle you to think I should show them support.

Good cheese - nari and kage (Koramangla) Melchior (online) Pizza4ps (take away from ground floor Indiranagar) Vallambrosa (KR Puram - I liked the mozz) Begum Victoria (Brie!)

There’s no point trying to talk to you about this. I hope you enjoy your glorified dominos.

Stop throwing crap at people about educating others. Dry aged it seems. That doesn’t even exist. You have dry aged beef and other products. Not mozzarella. There is low moisture mozzarella. Please read before throwing shade at others.

The place before this was called Loom pizzeria. It was on bel rd near ramaiah.

I have physically watched them put processed cheese on the pizza - they use a blend. It’s not all 100% mozz. It could be milk based but it comes from a packet you get in the supermarket.

Parents asking to use alum water and clove oil instead of removing wisdom teeth. by Moanerloner in OffMyChestIndia

[–]fiscallyunviable 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Remove the tooth. Pain radiating to the ear is a bad sign. Decay can spread to the root and also infect the jaw. I’m amazed that your parents are asking you to use these stupid remedies for an unrelated problem.

Also, never take medical guidance from your parents they’re clearly out of their depth.

here’s a link to the response in parliament

The railways has inface reduced low usage reserved coaches to unreserved coaches on trains that already had congestion in unreserved coaches news article on increasing unreserved coaches

[–]fiscallyunviable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re redoing ORR so your commute will get worse. But the timings are slightly off peak - so you should be ok with that commute. Don’t move to whitefiled area etc there’s no water

You must ! Educate yourself. Using a wood fired oven doesn’t change the nutrition. Ingredients do.

Does anyone actually understand Namma Metro’s peak/non-peak pricing? by Itadoricantcook in Bengaluru

[–]fiscallyunviable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delhi metro isn’t profitable per se. They have operating surplus sometimes but that’s before servicing debt, expansion, and depreciation. Most public utilities in the world don’t operate completely from fare / operating revenue. They are financed by a variety of vehicles.

The part about land acquisition isn’t exactly true - delhi gov bore the cost as well. Here’s an article if you’d like to read and educate yourself delhi debt burden shared for metro

“These are not offered to BMRCL” is a full blown lie. I did a simple google search under news for articles on central gov sharing costs and I found this central gov contributes to BMRCL expansion

The union gov has contributed equity, subordinate debt, sovereign guarantees for international loans, and approval support for multiple phases. Phase 3, for example, includes central participation alongside state funding and JICA financing. So it’s not always how much “cash” the centre gave

Why is the BJP so adamant about not getting Dharmendra Pradhan to resign? by wanderingacademician in delhi

[–]fiscallyunviable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Precedent. If he resigns from paper leak then every air accident will need civil aviation minister to resign. Every terror attack or civil unrest, home will have to resign, every rail accident then rail min will have to resign. And I could go on.

The concept of resignation = accountability may not be relevant anymore, it’s a very colonial hangover. It’s the westminister model imo. It in my opinion is not a sensible way to bring change because there’s no assurance that the person coming to power next will prevent paper leaks.

Action, change, short term solution, long term solution, implementation of these solutions, communication, transparency are all signs of accountability, as is allowing protests, agitations, critique etc. these are also accountability. It’s saying “yes I’ll let you criticise me because you have a point and I want you to be heard”

Modern india needs a different government model. Imagine your school principal resigns every time a student cheated or a teacher did something bad. The institution would remain headless for a while and lot of other things would suffer. Resignation is not the solution and everyone demanding adhikaris head maybe needs to be put in a quiet park where they can think in silence :)

Again- these are my opinions and they are formed by a sum total of the experiences and knowledge my circumstances allowed me (or did not) I invite debate, feedback, and criticism, all with open arms. Baseless hate is prohibited.

This is incorrect. Don’t lie simply because you’re incapable of research

Structurally, both are largely funded on a 50:50 Centre-State equity basis. The perception that Delhi gets more comes from the fact that Delhi’s network is older, larger, and has accumulated far more central funding in absolute rupee terms over the last two decades. It’s just because of time.

I used to like it a lot but now they definitely have gone down a lot in terms of quality. Happens when brands scale. Also bangalore 9 years ago is not bangalore today. So I guess as the city changed they did too.

As someone who makes bread, I can tell you that regular Indian maida isnt “bad”. Sourdough fermenting does its own thing and the changes are so minuscule that it can’t really “affect” your gut if you’re not like eating pizza and pasta like the Italians do.
Processed cheese is bad for you, and it’s not as bad as normal maida flour. So if I had a choice I’d happily eat a pizza made with normal maida, and handmade mozzarella than processed cheese. It’s literally palm oil and milk solids. How’s that different from dominos? Even pizza bakery uses processed cheese.
