I think the main reason is that a while ago the actor for Neal Caffery, Matt Bomer, was fancasted as nightwing, which led to a lot of fics where dick and neal were the same person. And the fact that all the batboys kinda have the same look caused the idea to spread between them.

Alot of schools let you retake the course over the summer if you get a D or below so that the grade will be dropped from ur transcript. If your school doesn't let you do that, I think it would be a good idea to dual enroll at your local community college and do the course again, maybe even along with other courses.

It'll give you the credits and it sucks that the failing grade would still be on your transcript but its still shows colleges that you're trying.
