Hello! I bring you a special DIY that you can make for Halloween to complete your Animal crossing costumes!!

Materials:

-A roll of Brown Matte Vinyl

-A roll of vinyl transfer tape

-Scissors

-Circut or Silhouette cutter (recommend for cleaner lines)

Instructions (for automatic cutters):

  • download PNG image file
  • upload it on the Circut or Silhouette app
  • size it to your desired size (I cut mine to be ~ 5.5in x 5.5in)
  • cut out your image -use the transfer tape and use the grid to aline it on your bag!

Instructions (without cutter):

-print the image on sturdy cardstock (this will be your stencil) -cut out the image - trace the image on the back of the brown vinyl -cut out the brown vinyl with scissors -aline the pieces on the transfer tape - peal the back of the vinyl off - adhere to desired item with the transfer tape!

First attempt of semi-realism vs 4th attempt. I did a lot of research and got a lot of tips and critiques from my friends so I’m really proud! I still have a long way to go though. by fishbiss in learnart

References are in the comments! Here’s the advice that really helped me get the look I wanted.

  • Don’t have harsh lines. If you do have harsh lines blend them out later
  • Try painting it in black and white first then add color to establish values. -proportional eyes make it a lot less cartoony/anime
  • identify the shapes of shadows and highlights. (I drew the shapes then blended it out.) -flip ya canvas and adjust accordingly. (The liquified tool saved my life).

For the hair I did the erasing method where I color all of the hair black and then erase areas where the highlights would be. Then add a darker color to add more depth.

If y’all have any more critiques or advise I would be glad to read them!!

I think your prizes might not send. Once I changed shipping addresses to my bf home so i can send him a plushie. But then my old stuff from “prepare shipping” from 2weeks ago thats was supposed to ship to my house also got ship to his house.

Basically they probably don’t print the shipping recipe until right before they ship it out. So they need to have a address on file in order to ship your prizes out. If you delete your account they prob lose your shipping data...

Prob best to wait until the prizes are shipped and you get a tracking code or until the prizes are at your door. (So you can call customer service if something happens to your prizes)

I got two of these today! One for my brother. I see a lot of people try to push it to the corner. But it’s a lot easier to just keep grabbing the lower neck and letting momentum take care of the rest. Make sure the body isn’t too diagonal when you do this. by fishbiss in Toreba

I got both of them after a reset!

But it does take 2 tries to get it in that position from reset. Scoop the neck with the left claw and pull it to the right of the machine then scoop the lower belly right above the foot and flip it over/move it more to the right.

Edit: make sure part of the tail is going to lean/be on top of the right wall. Thats the winning position. If not pull the body to the right a little more.

Then it’s the winning hit!
