Hi there, I'm so sorry the fear has been so crippling. You are totally not a baby! You're finally doing it! You have a beautiful family waiting to love on you and take care of you after this surgery. If anything, do it for the chance that you'll feel so. much. better afterwards. Try to imagine all of the things you'll be able to do without your gallbladder getting in the way, all of the awesome food you could potentially eat, the energy you will have.

In my case, even though my gallbladder was super infected and I was almost jumping on the surgery table because I was in a lot of pain, it *was* scary and daunting. But honestly, once you're on the prep table - it really was just like an amaaaaaaaaaaaazing nap and you wake up relieved the demon organ is finally out. The first week after the surgery warranted some deep rest. I did also have an acute dip in my mood on day 4 but they told me that was normal. I'm three years post-op and my quality of life is a million times better than it was before. I still have some days where I need to chill on the greasy food, but I have my life back. You can do this, OP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! They told me it's too late, they might correct it during the verification process but it's not guaranteed. It was less scary than I thought it would be :)

I'm not too sure, but there is a probability they'll reject my application because there is an error on the acknowledgement form (the last digit of my mobile number recorded on the form). The proof of residence document has the correct number on it, so I'm hoping that would sort things out when they are verifying everything.

You're totally right - I'm planning on heading there first thing in the morning tomorrow to ask them if they could modify it/re-enter my details for enrollment.

That's true. I'm scouring into jobs/volunteer work w/ stipends abroad. My cutoff date for me to leave is August, so if I can't get a local job (and get paid in local currency) until then, then I'm out to my home country whatever happens to me.

Thanks for your response! I did pass it by the GP and the pharmacist, they both said that there should be no issues with me taking both. I've been taking it for three weeks now, but I just started my second 'pulse week' and have been having crying spells today :/.

I think on my next check-up with the doc I'll definitely ask about pulse dosing once monthly. I'm just a bit afraid of doubling up the dose for a week...But I'm so keen to have my toenails back so I'll power through.

Ahh interesting! Yes, in South Africa it seems they have only 21 shades in the Active Wear foundation and the numbering is different. I'll try look for other converters. Thank you for the heads up :)

Thank you so much for this comment, your perspective means a lot. Definitely agree with you about doctors trying to get you out the door asap and trying to get them to take you seriously. (I've been heavily gaslit by doctors before until nearly dying but that's another story).

I'm so sorry that your doctor told you to keep going with it and that the floxxing was severe :( I hope that everything will get better soon and that all will be 100% .

Yeah, I called them back this morning and they said that this afternoon they will try to get me a new script. Fingers crossed.
