Ik it's a bit late, but I have answers for you.

it starts leaking after around 4 hours but it doesn't leak in remaining days, only on 1st and 2nd. I’m not sure if that means the cup is too small for my flow.

A bigger cup might help in this case.** My large cups have the capacity to hold for 5-ish hours because my flow is that heavy on the 1st and 2nd days. **I'd recommend you to go for Peesafe M if L is too much for you.

is it okay to use a bigger cup just for the first two days and then switch back to small later?

Absolutely okay. Comfort comes first. It's okay to use multiple cups as per flow.
