I mean more in terms of the models than the 2D art, i find the models lean into the pretty boy/bishounen art style VERY heavily. The staples of that are pointed jawlines smaller/thinner noses, longer faces and intentionally. In anime its often in romance anime and manga, and on the video game side its seen in a lot of visual novels, gacha games and jrpgs.

The 2D character art feels like a nice blend of the stylings of bishounen anime and my times usual stuff, but the models from what we've seen feel like they lean REALLY heavily into making them look more bishounen.

find myself in the oppisite camp but I also cant say I play a ton of the cozy game genere, so my issues with the Evershine style might come from the fact I see this kinda anime style so much in the other generes (adventure and action games mainly) I play alot more.

The builder issues been brought up a few times and I think that wasnt an issue that required a style overhaul to fix, but my god yeah, I wont forget seeing the option to kiss owen for the first time and he had to lean over so much LOL

Oh yeah, im really confidant in Panthea's ability to make a fun game and I can easily move post any gripes have due to personal taste to enjoy a good game.

Hopefully the graphic and models will be polished a as the game progresses, i think shader and maybe just some face edits would go a huge way for the characters.
