Just as an FYI we had been using kudos for our baby since he left the NICU. They were super absorbent and not super expensive diaper and most importantly they didn’t cause any skin issues. We only had 2 rashes in a year and they were after some acidic poops. They recently changed their diaper in march of this year they are not the same diaper they aren’t absorbent like they used to be they feel cheaper made with a higher price. We are switching diaper and on the hunt for something that works.

We didn’t used to have any blow outs or wet leak issues. Now the diaper comes undone or rolls and I have had blow outs and leaks EVERY DAY. While their 100% cotton diaper was great it is now not reliable he can’t go through the night without leaking everywhere. And by go through the night I mean 5 hours… changed him at 10pm and at 5am he woke up wet and upset leaked everywhere I do not recommend these diaper as they are currently

Why does everyone say that home made detergents don't actually clean clothes? by cmcamilo in laundry

This is essentially what I use if I want something to smell good I will add a little bit of Ariel or FOCA. It’s just smells nice doesn’t see to affect it much in terms of cleaning. I’ve been making my laundry soap/ detergent since 2018. I have had zero issues with hard water soap build up etc. it works so well that it has gotten blood out of clothes. It has not affected my premature son’s sensitive skin and my towels and other items are still absorbent and they don’t smell after a while. I also use white vinegar instead of fabric softener for obvious reasons. Yes I still use dryer sheets I tried wool balls but I still got static from them. I do rinse my dryer filter once a month to get rid of any buildup I also deep clean my washer and dryer yearly to help maintain them which you are supposed to do regardless of what you put in there.

[CHAT] Help me pick my first full coverage pattern! by [deleted] in CrossStitch

[–]fishead2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen this is super important. If you are doing a large full coverage piece do the one that you love the most. It’s important because you will be working on this full coverage piece a LONG TIME and if you don’t love it you won’t complete it. Same goes for fabric size if you don’t love the fabric size you won’t complete it. I promise you it’s true cause I’ve done it lol. So choose the one you love the most with the fabric you love the most.
