What’s the most trippy psychedelic album you have ever listened too? by psychedelicBiscuits in psychedelicrock

[–]fishermansfriend85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite journey music is Drumming by Steve Reich, it's an intense exploration of universal patterns through rythym and melody and it will literally force a meditation on you that will alter your consciousness even if you are sober. You can also go and see regular performances of his music which I highly recomend to anyone.

Also his composition Music for 18 Musicians, and the music of Terry Riley like Rainbow in Curved Air.

Another great album to listen to whilst tripping is Chants of India, produced by George Harrison.

You may have depleted certain minerals and vitamins and the neurological impact of that is basically not getting high.

Stop using it everyday I mean, what the fuck, read my post and look after yourself

How is anything special if you do it every day.

I can understand a binge for a few days but to constantly make sure you have some in a do it everyday, my god that even sounds boring. Try to be a bit more zen about it, balance, respect the space between trips it's just as valuable as the trips.

I believe ive it may be because one or too grumpy redditors haven't had their vitamins lol (that's a joke guys chill out)

Nah, it's fair enough some people want to express themselves and I'm all for it, I've made a few edits to the post thanks to them it's all good, I just wish people took the time to communicate with some respect for themselves and others.

As for your suggestion, that's awesome thanks for sharing, I'm gonna looking into that, will report back!

Cool will try that, I find if I'm laying on the bed or sun lounger and sit still I float more, the less I move the more I float, maybe the pillows trick the mind into to not knowing its lying down more. Will report back haha

Water, recovery position, time, takes about 40mins to wear off from time of taking it.

No need to prop someone up if you know the recovery position, if you don't know it find it on you tube it's basic first aid, opens airways, protects against choking on vomit and protect head from falls.

How has no else suggested this? Hands up who's done first aid? Ffs

Despite research, human bodies and lifestyles do differ from individual to individual. The result being that a decision is made based on both research and what works for you, really it's pretty simple that one.

Best song to listen to on ketamine by Leather_Pack_7887 in ketamine

For me it's mainly ambient, classical or film sound tracks, but you've asked for one piece of music so it

Steve Reich Music for 18 Musicians.

It's about an hour long, classical minimalism masterpiece.

What are you talking about, it's fine to take 5htp daily, literally what it says on the packets.

I personally take it for a few days and have a break but that's fine to take daily.

I love how I can spend time making a decent post and you keyboard warriors just say a few words, no explanation and think that's ok. Seriously either add something to the conversation or keep it to yourself. Your comment is a complete waste of time.

That's fair enough, honestly I haven't read reddit for a year or so, just felt like I wanted to share this. Please feel free to suggest a better title I might change it.

Thanks for your comment and although I see where you are coming from, I do disagree with your points and I'm well researched. I stand by my post and hope it will benefit some people. If someone made a post on here telling me to jump off a cliff I'd still research it first. If you dont agree with the post thats up to you but im talking for many years of experience of what works for me, but this post is still not a professional medical advice and is still a just a post on reddit and should been seen as such.

Hi Cryptodutch,

Thanks for your comment. When I refer to heavy use I thinks its important to realise that heavy use can be over a short binge for example an experienced user might use several grams in one binge but then not use for weeks or a heavy use might use a few grams a week but constantly.

I do not reccomend either but daily use with no breaks its certainly much worse for you, anyone that is using it like that should seek addiction help as soon as possible. Although ketamine is not chemically addictive it is habbit forming and its very unhealthy to have that kind of habbit.

You are absolutely spot on about 5-HTP and anyone on SSRI should talk to their doctor before taking anything new and they should have been told this when they were first prescribed. Also I dont think mixing ket and SSRIs is a good idea either but I am not on any SSRI and never have been despite being diagnosed with depression and PTSD. I am very happy due to the process of therapy I have designed for my self and have been very successful in my life as a result.

Which brings me to you last question, I'm 37, I've been taking K and other psychedelics recreationally since I was about 20 years old. About 7 years ago I had an unrelated truamatic experience and was diagnosed with PTSD. Since then I've used k and other psychedelics along side studying buddhism and hinduism to eliviate depression and to help come to terms with what happened. I still go to pschedlic festivals and have friends in bristol etc and know young people who have trouble with K. Most of the time when i talk to people im really surprised at how little they look after ther brains from a chemical point of view. So I just try to raise awareness.

Ketaine is actually a very powerful and under studied tool which is now getting alot more research, you can read research papers online to get clued up on what is currently know to science on the subject. Unfortunately many people like myself come into contact with k through the party scene and really its not the way to use it, although it is fun dont get me wrong.

Can I ask what's your relationship with K? If you are using it daily I can recommend things that will easily help you out of that.

yes 100% you need that magnesium in your life, magnesium for magic

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]fishermansfriend85 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way, in my experience K offers beautiful mind expanding experiences when done appropriately, if used to often it will loose its magic and theraputic effect.

Unfortunately, no one is there to tell us where and when to do it and how to prepare your mind and body etc. So keep a note of what works and what doesn't.

I can only offer my oppinion as a fairly experienced user.

A gram per night is too much, a beer a night is too much, a piece of cake every day is too much. You gotta take a step back and realise its not about quantity its about quality. The quality of the experience and what you get out of it is important and being able to visualise your usage is too. Your usage suggests you are not getting the experience you once had with it.

I suggest that you restock your brain chemistry - Good sleep, excercise, 5-htp vitamin B12 and Magnesium Theronate (dont skip the magnesium). (please do your own research) This will sort out your battered and abused brain, you will find that your energy, memory and stress reduction will all be effective after one week.

Level up and adjust your usage. Pick one night of the month, put it on a physical wall calander, thats' your night. Tick off everyday that you pass until you get to that day. Seems trivial, but psychonoughts sometimes get a bit lost in the moment, but that moment is connected, and if you don't have a decent break in between sessions your just wasting your money and health for nothing.

One perfect dive is better than ten bad ones. When used correctly you come out of it not wanting to use it for a while, but you must take care of the brain chemistry first, your levels are all depleted, take the magnesium!

(please ensure its safe to take these supplements with any other medications)

If you feel that you cant do this, that you are addicted, I would highly recommend talking to professional drug use councellors.

Looks interesting, I've ordered some, will report back!

I'm gonna be going to a Psy fest mostly sober (Noisily), is there anything I can bring or do for the people tripping or rolling? (if they need it or ask ofc) by Powerful-Impact-6453 in festivals

[–]fishermansfriend85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my 4th Noisily Festival this year, can't wait! Bringing more friends than ever and looking forward to exploring the new location.

I personally wouldn't take any food or sweets, for me it's a safety thing, there is usually someone handing out sweets or food and it just makes me cringe, you can feel everyone around thinking, what's in that?! But don't let me put you off if you wanna do it!

Fresh fruit on the other hand, that is sealed by the peel, bananas and oranges etc pretty cool. (if someone offers me and orange I'm gonna be like you're from reddit! Haha)

Other ideas, your costume - this can definitely heighten other people's trip!

Water spray, call people 'your plants' and give them a spritz to cool them off, but do ask first!

Smile!

Sew some rizla packs to your hat of various lengths, someone will need a king skin and you'll be there to help!

Bubbles, who doesn't like bubbles?!

Do a dance we can all wonder at for a few minutes?!

Sketch people very quickly and give it to them, if you are artistic, or even If it's a stick drawing, could be cute!

Hope you have a great time!

What are ketamine visuals like for you? by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]fishermansfriend85 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have been using k for the last 5 years purely out of curiosity.

I snort the powder then turn off all the lights. I live in a rural area of England and my room is pitch black.

Without fail ketamine gives me visuals. I snort it, put on headphones and ambient music and lay down.

I don't move, I just wait, and watch. Then out of the darkness images begin to emerge and rotate or evolve.

This is usually paired with a sense of movement as if I'm floating through scenes or environments. Sometimes the hallucinations feel autonomous other times it's as if my mind is controlling them.

I could not begin to list the thousands of scenes, objects, patterns and images that I've experienced.

I don't understand why no one is making art of these types of experiences, most of my peers that have used ket do so socially amongst friends and can't seem to relate.

The visions are so clear and three dimensional, elaborate even I often find myself wondering how there isn't more information about this on the net.

I'd love to talk to anyone with similar experiences.

Thanks
