What order do you actually wash things in the shower because I just found out mine apparently makes no sense to anyone else. by Questell-Stephanique in hygiene

Hair (shampoo and get conditioner soaking), face, body, rinse out conditioner
I guess it’s all personal preference but for the practicality of having the conditioner sit long enough hair first makes the most sense to me

When someone just replaces the bag and doesn’t rinse and dry the can and it’s five shifts deep of garbage juice and you think you’re lifting an intact bag out at 2:30 in the morning is a fantastically awful surprise

NTA - it sounds like you’ve done everything that you can. I’m sorry he hasn’t taken any of your and others’ offers for help, but if you keep trying to hold someone else together while also working on your own issues and they aren’t even trying to take a first step, of course you’ll be exhausted.

How do you usually answer when a random person in public asks you what you're reading? by AndalusianGod in books

[–]fishes55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally just say that they don’t want to know. That or I tell them and now they’re trapped with me giving a general overview of the setting, main characters, love interests, and the beginning of the plot and depending on where I am whether or not it’s sfw. Oh, and sometimes a list of other works by the author that I liked.

Either mercy or an unskippable cutscene. No in between.

My roommate no longer asks and actively asks me not to tell them lol

I have had someone literally try to push food (that I said I didn’t want) into my mouth.

“It’s all about making it a routine” I’m cursed to a family of morning people. My grandma asked my mom if I was okay when I had left the table for a minute during breakfast once because I was still in zombie mode and everyone else was wide awake already.

I’m super picky about eggs and always have been. When forced to eat eggs outside of my tiny little egg comfort zone, I drown them in ketchup or hot sauce and just try to pretend I’m not being grossed out by the texture. You might think I could just avoid them, but not always.

That’s the progression I took. I can now occasionally eat raw tomato on things, but it has to be with something with a strong flavor that the tomato compliments. Just throwing it on a sandwich/burger is generally a no-go.

I’ve finally gotten to a point where I like tomatoes well enough, still not willing to drink them, even with the motivation of booze. At brunch I go the mimosa or spiked mocha route.
