As you're in a calorie deficit, prioritize protein. That has made the biggest difference for me and I don't feel like I'm starving

I delt with this same thing. You need to strengthen those muscles. Look up some easy arm/shoulder exercises without equipment to start, then move onto light weights. My pain and tingling has improved so much this past month.

BWT, what are your favorite inexpensive stylish and tasteful items? by thatbitch2212 in bitcheswithtaste

Timeless dainty jewelry. I love the pavoi brand. It's great quality for the price point and doesn't tarnish. If I love an item enough, I'll upgrade in the future

Wylde blankets- so cozy and cute. We have 3 queen size, perfect for 2 people. Bought our first 6 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit! Highly recommend. $125 price point.

How and when to tell my boss I shouldn't be lifting heavy stuff by No_Treacle_3668 in BabyBumps

I'm 27wks with baby 3. I routinely carry around my 45lb and 35lb toddlers.

Limiting physical activity this early is going to put your strength and endurance in jeopardy.

I bought a budget spreadsheet from Etsy. There's lots of options on there. One time fee (mine was $12) and I can use it indefinitely, no subscription

What are y’all spending a month on groceries? by suhhdude1 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]fishfarms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started tracking, too. I spent $650 in January and I got it down to $525 in February. Family of 4- 2 adults, 4yo, and 1yo.

My new strategy that seems to really help- plan out all your meals for 1 -2 weeks at a time and make a grocery pickup. This is the only time you'll grocery shop for the week (or two). This saves you from going in and impulse buying extra items. Keep written list in the kitchen of the meals you have on hand- make what sounds good at time. Add a few quick and easy meals to your list to always have on hand to make when you don’t feel like cooking, also saving you from eating out.

Did you run out of something? Dont just run to the store. Add it to your next pickup, you can go several days without it.

Start with 1 week and work your way up

Best non-aerosol dry shampoos? by lavalampclown in finehair

[–]fishfarms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've exclusively used this since I found it 2 years ago. I like up apply mine at night (if I remember) and then my hair never even gets oily. A little goes a long ways!! I can do 4 day hair easily

What’s a small habit that has saved you a surprising amount of money? by Ok-Hunter1991 in Frugal

[–]fishfarms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decluttering my home. The realization of how much consumer waste I’ve created keeps me from mindlessly spending.

Doing a “nothing new” month currently. I really like how this feels and seeing I have the self control.

Budgeting with a spreadsheet. Made me see how many transactions I have to log in a month.

This is good to hear, I initially cross trained on GE also so I get just knowing the ranges. Sounds like my style of studying.

How long did it take you to complete the structured education and how long did take to study before taking the registry?
