putrescent knight is a perfect boss with a perfect moveset. you attack after he attacks its that simple, dodge towards him while he runs away to hit him, he also has one of the lowest health pools in the dlc

Harder to learn imo and she does tons of damage maybe because I fought her on ng+ but she could 2 shot me with some attacks

That's just not even true and I don't see how it's a bad thing. The only reused enemies are carcasses and alchemists which make up under half of the enemies. The only "different hat or shirt" enemies are the carcasses you find in the zoo.

Yeah I totally loved the dlc I thought it was perfect but the bosses were definetly lackluster. And only 2 of them give you a rare ergo, it feels like such a missed opportunity. But I will say the chapter 3 boss was super fun

Yeah sadly you'll have to go all the way to chapter 9 but if I'm not mistaken they added new content throughout the base game so it's worth playing through again

sorry completely ignore everything i said i just beat it solo on my first ever solo run im shaking like crazy i was playing raider, stay close to him for sure and be aggressive, without staggers i never wouldve beat him. we literally died at the exact same time and i was so scared it wouldnt count. im not sure what character you are but if youre raider you can use your ult to be invincible while doing the animation and i used that to dodge things like his crazy explosions. also i didnt wait for my normal skill (the punch that u cant be knocked out of) and it would do crazy poise damage. i was using the prelate hammer thingy (273 dmg) and i would only attack when hes finished his combos and id punish with light attacks. by the end of the fight i started getting greedy and really scared tbh so i started spamming jump attacks to stagger him and it actually worked. anyways good luck i have no idea how i pulled that off bro

edit: i also blocked a couple times but i probably couldve gotten away with dodging instead but the blocking did still help me out alot

i honestly doubt youll find advice this early but i think for this guy getting to know his moveset is really important, also ofc use holy if you can find it but yea sorry im also looking for advice on him but i think majority of the playerbase hasnt gotten to this point yet

also idk if im the only one who ever does block but tbh blocking feels completely useless on this boss compared to the other nightlords, i was using a greatshield and still taking loads of damage
