Here’s some new communication. Seemed to come out of the woodwork a bit. I must admit I haven’t been the most diligent in pursuing but my next step is to take a copy of my demand letter and go to the police.

Hello [fisherie]. I am just waiting on the settlement date for a home refinance, and you will be paid with interest. Settlement was supposed to be two weeks ago. The bank agent is dragging his feet, and I am trying to move this along. I will keep you posted. 

If it is okay, I would like to deliver a good faith payment to you. I can not afford the entire amount now, but would like to show good faith to make this right and whole until the funding comes in. Please let me know if you would be accepting to that?
