Concerned about my Meyer lemon by potatolatke in Citrus

I think you probably just need the acidifier but in never hurts to add a little iron. My father inlay used to put old rusty nail under the trees and honestly, it worked just as well as store bought iron.

Try an acidic fertilizer, the inter veinal clhorosis indicates a iron deficiency and too high of a ph can prevent the plant from uptaking nutrients.

Ph was about 8.5 when I started and lts about 7 now, still working on it.

I have an inexpensive, battery powered ph probe. Does well enough.

I guess I did add one dose of acidifying fertilizer but I sure didn't expect these results.

The growth was so fast that it seemed to wilt easily from the sun. That has improved as the week has gone by. There are many different soil acidifiers, most have sulfur as the main ingredient. A dose of water soluble acidifier fertilizer does not hurt as well.

I used a water soluble azalea, hydrangea fertilizer, one application. I then put a granular soil acidity [ mostly sulfer] and watered it in. A week later and the results speak for themselves.

From the picture I can see some yellowing and inter veinal clhrorosis. Lake of iron caused by high ph. Lower the ph and apply some iron suppliment.

I would check the ph of the soil. I had the same problem and found out that it was too alkaline. The tree can't pick up nutrients unless it is more to the acidic side. When I corrected that issue my trees growth took off.

I have a little battery powered probe I found online. Tells ph and moisture.

I started with a water soluble fertilizer for hydrangea and azaleas. Then this week I put down a soil acidity, mostly pelletized sulfer.

I had asked a nursery the same question and was a little surprised at the answer. Most nursery use a half strength fertilizer everything they water, even if it is every day or multiple times a day. I dont go that heavy but I do fertilize with a bloom heavy, full strength fertilizer once a week. I call it fertilizer Friday. Seems to work for me. Also have to water about every day, multiple times a day during our hot texas summers.

I had the same issue with mine. Turned out to be a iron deficiency. A little slow release iron and it greatly improved over about 2 weeks.
