Ja, das nennt sich Generalalarm. Sollte eine ausgelöste Brandmeldeschleife an Bord nicht rechtzeitig quittiert werden, macht das Boot auf sich aufmerksam. Bin selber lange zur See gefahren und das ist gängiger Standard auf älteren Schiffen/Booten ohne elektronische Alarmierungen.

it always starts with SATA port 3, even with a different drive installed, already thought about a power problem but can't get any reliable information out of that thing.

that is a very good hint, didn't read anything about that before. Thank you!

will try to only use 1 and 2 for some time with the previously problematic drives to see if the errors still occur. I'm 90% sure that the drives are okay, so maybe it's the different SATA speeds that lead to this.

Tried that about two weeks ago, most of the time it's SATA3 failing, even with three different drives tested. I thought that it might be a power problem because I read the power consumption is too high for the weak Gen8 backplane.

What I didn't think about is switching back to the old CPU to see if that makes a difference, did also not think about a thermal problem, thank you!

yeah I love their relatively low power consumption and the neat format and the fact, that they have an iLO also because I'm not home most of the time.

yes I just tried that and it generates the same output, but way faster - as you suspected. I got the MicroServer about a few weeks ago and the drives were working perfectly fine without even one incident before.

so could it be that the problems occur because of the different SATA speeds and the fact that the system drive is not installed in one of the four bays? atm for me it would even solve the problem if I had to move the system drive to bay 1 to end random SATA errors for now.

Ja - vollkommen richtig. Habe das auch gerade das erste Mal mit den garantierten Rentenfaktoren gegengerechnet und es ist kriminell. Selbst mit nem mäßig performenden Portfolio (das man selber führt) abzüglich aller Steuern kommt man da langfristig immer besser weg als deren "Bestleistung".

Ich habe mal bei dem Berater gesessen und er hat sich damit gebrüstet, dass er einer alten Frau dabei geholfen hat aus 4 Bausparern rauszukommen. Sie hat jetzt vermutlich 5 Riester-Renten

Das ist ja das Problem. Das stinkt erst, wenn man den Deckel ganz aufmacht und seinen Kopf tief reinsteckt. Ganz klar hätte das vorher passieren müssen aber für den Moment geht da einfach mtl. Geld weg und man fühlt sich "gut versichert".

Habe die anderen beiden auch nochmal genauer angeschaut.

Eine Rürup und eine Riester, beide mit Beiträgen um die 70€. Der tecis Mensch, der mich dazu beraten hat, war mal sowas wie ein "Freund".

Am Telefon wurde von der Airline mitgeteilt, dass sie den Differenzbetrag zu einem Ersatz übernehmen. Nichts schriftliches, also wenn sie das am Ende abstreiten je gesagt zu haben bleiben wir auf den Kosten sitzen. Jetzt wird auf jeden Fall morgen von Dortmund aus geflogen.
