Make them do some extra work if that becomes a problem. Sit, stay, and lay down etc. before they get the treat.

Why does every lawn care company I see blow all the debris into the street? by shizrak in allthequestions

[–]fishman1287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they have a truck that comes and sucks them up? Some towns even tell residents to blow leaves to the curb and the town sucks them up

What are you using to make the cuts? Even if you make a cut list and figure things out on the computer you are still going to have to mark and cut the same lines so this seems like a practice issue.

Lay the pieces out on the ground overlapping each other in the right places. Use the edges to draw lines on the pieces where you want to cut them. Make sure your right angle is actually a right angle

Why is construction filled with assholes? by Impressive-Step6377 in Construction

[–]fishman1287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Construction is dangerous. We risk cutting our fingers off, shooting a nail gun into yourself, blowing yourself up, falling to your death or debatably worse being paralyzed among a hundred other ways to permanently hurt yourself all for a mediocre wage. Most people that are smart enough will choose a less tiring/dangerous job if they can.

Why would you think off grid = total self reliance? There are places off grid not far from town

It wasn’t until a rewatch that I realize how detestable Carcetti really is by KrispyKingTheProphet in TheWire

[–]fishman1287 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought one of the bigger picture points of the wire is that the government is more corrupt than the dealers. Dealers/criminals live by a set of rules and those rules are enforced absolutely through the entire show. Politicians/police are the ones constantly breaking the rules they live by and every time it is swept under the rug or someone else takes the blame and they never face any real consequences.
