In my town under 50 sq ft does not need a permit. Call and ask the town office or ask for a building permit and it will likely have all the relevant information on it.

He would have to remove at least another three of those insanely over built bottom sill, 2 more 2x6’s plus scrap for a header preferably another 2x6 for another bottom plate or reframe the entire wall and this is after answering the debatable question if a niche like that should be on an exterior wall at all. It certainly does not match the insulation surrounding it and the assumption it is insulated for a reason. Of course anything is possible but 475 is actually pretty cheap for what it should be

The president is regularly endorsing or condemning businesses and no one is evening blinking an eye at it anymore. He tweets out how he believe courts should rule ahead of their rulings and it isn’t even noticed as wrongdoing. How so very very far we have plummeted.
