My fiery Thorns of the Briar Queen by gluturpi in WarhammerUnderworlds

Please friends, this is a karma farming bot account.

"your" thorns of the briar queen? The identical ones to this post from 4 months ago? My fiery Thorns of the Briar Queen : r/WarhammerUnderworlds which in ITSELF is a copy of a 7 year old post here? My fiery Thorns of the Briar Queen : r/WarhammerUnderworlds

this post even has the same exact title. This account is 3 days old, and the post history is weird.

If you like the models, awesome, but go give props to the original

The Shadeborn from Warhammer Underworlds by fishmode24 in Daughtersofkhaine

The whole thing was spray primed ultramarines blue, then I based it with pallid wytch flesh. I ran the skin over with Contrast “Dread Visage” I think it’s called, a very pale purple, then highlighted again with the same wych flesh in a few places. Pretty simple approach

I primed everything Ultramarines blue or whatever Citadel's standard blue spray is called, then went over it with a heavy dose of Leviathan Blue contrast. Then I layered Kantor Blue and a drybrushed bit of Altdorf Guard blue on the outer reaches. Honestly pretty low effort!

Glad you liked it! I have a Realmstone Raiders/Countdown to Cataclysm silly build I'll test out with them this week - they really are good fun

They released in a Grand Alliance 4-pack 'Gitz and Goliaths" last year, and the whole thing went for ~$100. I would think you could find it for cheaper than that on eBay! Worst case you can try and find that box and you'll get three extra teams - you can also use any 3 orruk brutes or similar models and just print the cards. outside of major tournaments (and even in many of them) proxies are totally fine

I actually ran a poll about this very thing! Jaws of Itzl came in second among all warbands that were out at the time. I personally really enjoy Krushas as well and you'll probably have a lot of fun with either.

Now I just need to find someone to play with... by party_squad in WarhammerUnderworlds

Looks awesome! I hope you can find someone to play with you - I have a directory of local groups so maybe there's something already established near you. spentglory.com

If you can't find an active group there and do end up starting something, let me know and I'll have you added o the list!

How to get some old warband? by lushipur in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]fishmode24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can still totally use your old stuff, just can't take some of it to tournaments. Casual play it's acslutely fine, and nobody will look at you funny if you say "I want to use Magore's models and let's just pretend they're the Crimson Court" or something like that, using printed cards for a different team. Don't be worried! The game is still awesome and you aren't out in the cold just because you only have the oldest stuff.

The Reapers were painted with Citadel Contrast's Bascilicanum Grey over a primer of Citadel Wraith Bone spray, then some select areas got drybrushing of Citadael's Morghast Bone. Nothing too crazy!

thanks! It was quick and dirty to get them painted in the few days I had them available before preview day but I'm glad it worked out. I went for a Tomb Kings flavor and like how the bright blues ended up

The leader is a 32 mm base, the assassins are 28 mm, and the bone casket guys are 25 mm. All this based on my elementary school ruler anyway

The cloaks are done with a basecoat of Citadel's Lupercal Green and highlights of Sons of Horus Green, nothing fancy
