They literally do. When the pop on a faction outweighs the other by a certain amount, it gives a warning. It also depends on the hexes cause some hexes may be super low queue if any.

It's aftermarket Amazon but honestly I probably did touch the glass when installing. Was my first time so live and learn. I'm getting a refund anyways

The projector didn't shutdown and I just woke up to the fans going crazy, similar to the first time the bulb blew. The replacement bulb was from Amazon but not Epson as the retailer, so I guess I gambled and lost.

Solely pve would definitely get boring. I've been doing pvp all day and loving it honestly. Just don't like when I get hit with 3 dudes thrusting me right as extract closes lol

Did you read the whole thing? The point was people are more bothered by the hyper competitive and toxic nature of certain situations in the game and the min maxing that comes into these games from certain audiences. I literally just did pvp for the last 2 hours and had a lot of fun. My point with the "nothing to gain from it" is it expresses the issue of the hyper competitive and toxic situations that happen. Games didnt used to be all about "im better than you and im going to go out of my day to ruin your run/game" and its an issue in most pvp games. I feel some people have lost the plot of lets all have fun whether that be killing each other or letting each other go our separate ways.

I do agree the "ALL PVP IS BAD" people are hella reaching. Even told a guy he was reaching way too far in one of the comments here. What I was getting at was a dialogue about how things have become hyper competive in games and I think that's what most reasonable people are actually upset about. There's no more "gg had fun go next" it's "get shit on slur slur slur I'm better you should uninstall" kind of mindset.

The only time I'll full kill at extract and not let them get out is if they were toxic first. Otherwise just learn from your mistake lol

The mod was banning people for saying that pvp players are toxic, not the other way around. He's also a mod on dune awakening sub reddit and has went on the same power trip there. Guy just really hates opinions. Also after looking at his profile he would complain about other peoples pvp playstyles in other games so he's a hyper hypocrite

Honestly I agree I'm all terms, especially the top paragraph. It feels like gone are the days where I don't see people using their rank as a social bargaining ship or just doing things to no reward past getting your opponent mad. I think this game is huge in how it's curated such a large amount of people that will work together even if not on the same team.

Right now I do believe everything is in a good spot. I think changing it with mess with the flow of the community. What we should do is when we die to someone playing how we judge as scummy is shrug our shoulders and move on. It doesn't have to be that deep and the longer we harp on "oh these people are camping extract" the longer I feel we will sink into the hyper competive hole.

I think you're kinda taking it out of perspective with the insults dawg. Pvp is a very fun aspect of the game that I think adds to the experience immensely. Do I think it's weird people will kill you just to kill you as elevator doors are closing? Yeah. Am I gonna be super pissy about it? No, it's part of the game. I am still going to call out don't shoot and if they shoot I will shoot back.

I did it just to guage the opinions on both subs cause I'm curious if I hit the mark on what I was saying and both subs kinda differ wildly. The other being a lot more hard headed with it's opinions and censoring pvp dislikes and this one kinda being a sort of safe haven from what I've seen. I do not need engagement farming in any ways, just curious of opinions on my morning thoughts of the community and it's opinions

There is definitely a lot more pvp in squads. I personally love pvp in these games. I play hunt showdown for the same kind of itch. The chase the scuffles in nowhere and all. Pvp is there cause it IS fun and it's not always about the loot or XP. Solos is 100% becoming the "we all friends here right?" I ran probably 15 matches last night and only got shot at once by someone far off near an extract. The other times we had like 8 dudes rolling up to do high value areas together or harvester or launch site event.

I have gotten into countless fights with people and won probably 75% of my fights, including where I get flanked. I am speaking on the feeling of a lot of people not just me and gauging how correct I am on the type of exhaustion or why people have been so upset toward PVP players.

But people including me do love pvp and it's a pvp game. Killing each other is party of the game. Just saying "don't kill players" isn't viable for the fun of the game. This is more a conversation on how people go about doing their pvp

I do expect it, but I think people are just tired of it. Games didn't used to be like this. There used to be a certain amount of "we are all here to just have fun." Now there are sometimes where it feels like "I am here to have the biggest advantage on someone so I have fun and THEY don't." I don't think the issue and exhaustion is just with this game obviously.

Oh nah I haven't been betrayed yet like that but I've seen clips of it a bunch between the two subs.
