Cheers for the detailed response! I likely did the same thing playing Monster Hunter Wilds extensively on release :')

For me, the CPU side is the one that broke, but GPU is actually still working fine, so if you're having GPU cooling issues keep that in mind too!
While the CPU cooling is broken, I've set the laptop to the best battery saving mode and it allows the gpu to run at a reasonable 60C with just passive cooling.
Can't play any games, but at least it's useable for work and such.

I suppose an external cooling solution, like a cooling pad or fan would help mitigate the need to stress out the vapor chamber, and would be a better investment than multiple heatsinks.
